can anyone suggest a good (and free) recording program for computers?
cuz im planning to do a cover on DEPAPEPE - Start and or Snow dance intro...
could anyone suggest something?
btw, for those who have no friggin idea of what DEPAPEPE is all about,
go check youtube, and let the guitars speak...

yeah i'm planning on doing one from Himawarigumi, i have one request from H1 and i might do something from H2 as well, i already made an arrangement for Seishun no Inatzuma

@amcks:

well currently, i'm using adobe audtion. I don't think its free though. But for freeware i suggest using Audacity. I haven't tried it myself but i have a friend who uses that, which is not bad. Good luck with your recordings then and post them hear so I could check them out.

btw, this is the Capo version, which is exactly what i played on the recording. I was thinking of doing a standard tuning, no capo version, but i'm not sure if anyone is interested. So just tell me okay, and i'll work on it.

THE LAY DOWN PROJECT[/align]

okay, so I've been inactive for a while in terms of doing acoustic stuff, so I kinda' thought of a good way to do a big comeback and i wanna involve other people too, so i kinda' thought of this, but what the hell is it really about? READ ON!

WTF IS THIS?

So as the name says, i wanna cover Lay Down from H1, but instead of doing the melody by guitar, i want vocals. Since the song is kickass and i kinda' thought it would be cool to hear S48'ers sing/shout "Watashi no Mono!" or "Lay Down! Lay Down!" :lolol:

Who can join?

Anyone who has a mic, knows how to record stuff and all that. I'm also encouraging the stars from the Karaoke thread to participate.

the PROJECT

okay, i'll take care of the instrumental once i get my recording gears set up. For the ones who are interested, any ideas, questions, violent reactions, cookies for me or whatnots, discuss away on this thread. I'll keep a log on the first post to show the progress.

i started to colour code the original lyrics which can be found (link removed until i re-do something) You'll notice that the last 2 chorus' are not done yet because it got too complicated and it's too early in the morning XD

The revised version is done here
