I heard from somewhere that Acchan's popularity is going down, like her mixi dropping and her queue at the handshaking events decreasing because she was apparently rude to fans.

Well to make it short there's two constant thing in AKB48. One is that Takamina is the group leader and second is that Acchan will always be Center if its not Sousenkyou or Janken single and those losers can't change that.

Actually after the 3rd sousenkyou, i really don't care if the center is Acchan or Yuko cause they both deserve it.
But those antis got so excited when Yuko won the sousenkyou. Since i hate antis i do wish Acchan get the first place. Just to make them to shut up

And just a side note, on 2ch (or whatever website that antis usually hang out) i've seen many posts saying Acchan and Tomochin have really bad attitude towards fans during handshake event. I thought it was true too (before i became Acchan+tomo fans). Until my friend who went to the handshake event and told me that Acchan and Tomochin were super nice to fans, especially to kids and to female fans.

So, never believe what you see on those websites.

She's probably not AKB fans favorite anymore, but she's public favorite. It's her and Tomochin's duty. AKB won't sell million if depending on their fandom only. It's back to 2008 era. And election .. I hope it won't happen again.

Because I don't bother going directly to Acchan's blog there's a lot of new things here like that Paris photo shoot and that All Night Nippon Subject Actress Award!!, woah! so many things have happened.

I think it would better help Acchan if she were present for more theater performances and handshake events. I understand that she is working on a lot of other things, but that could be viewed as her putting AKB48 second and she could lose popularity if fans think she isn't in it for the group as much as she used to be.

That has been long discussed by the members themselves. Hmm... how do I put it. Okay, it sounds like these. I'm too lazy right now to explain, this will be short.

Popular AKB48 members accept work outside of AKB and sometimes spend months away from the theater on the precept that they are promoting AKB48 outside of its usual fanbase, hence they always attached (AKB48) in their name. These might sound as being egoistic to ones career but this is how AKB grew from the usual theater fan base and into mainstream. The exposure Acchan and Yuko get greatly help the group in recognition aspect.
And its also a good thing that when popular members are away the KKS or the less popular regular members also get to fill up those sweet spots in the formation.
