This song had some tricky parts to it, but I think I managed well. The lyrics have a melancholic feel like "Darui kanji" but with a touch of "Namida uri no shoujo" minus the actual suicide - at least, that's how I see it. I find the music to be hauntingly beautiful. Overall, the songs pretty much kicks ass.
Also, unlike the official lyrics, the fan recording has a solo line plugged in just before the last chorus. It's spoken really fast, but I think I heard it correctly. Anyway, the extra line is posted here as a bit of a special for STAGE48 - so consider yourselves lucky
So yeah, here's the translation! I hope you guys like it!
“Inochi no tsukaimichi” – “Usage of life”
Original lyrics by Mr. Akimoto Yasushi
Translation by gideon123
I WANT TO BE LOVED BY SOMEONE
I WANT TO BE LOVED BY SOMEONE
Inside the train
As I listen to my i-Pod,
Suddenly for some reason,
Living became so unpleasant
Even my music can’t make me feel better
It all just rusts together inside my heart
The voice comes from the old man,
But if he talks to me,
I wonder if a little bit of the sadness will disappear
Since anyone will do, he’s next to me
Instead of the one I want
I give everything to him
I WANT TO BE LOVED BY SOMEONE
If I’m alone like this
Until I arrive at the last stop,
No matter where I go,
I can’t see where I’m going
My family and friends look like air
That hand that I wave still cuts right through it all
Even if the voice comes from the old man,
I wonder if something will change from there
Show me the usage of life
Instead of letting things be as they are
Old man, where're you taking me?
The voice comes from the old man,
But if he talks to me,
I wonder if a little bit of the sadness will disappear
Since anyone will do, he’s next to me
Instead of the one I want
I give everything to him
Even if the voice comes from the old man,
I wonder if I can meet my true self
The proper usage of life
If you show me it, I’ll be grateful
I WANT TO BE LOVED BY SOMEONE
I WANT TO BE LOVED BY SOMEONE
