The drama is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Honda Tetsuya (誉田哲也), as well as a sequel to Borderless.

Synopsis
Five years after the plot of Borderless, Nao (Morita Hikaru), Kiri (Saito Kyoko) and Kotone (Kobayashi Yui) have started a new life. One day, a novel written by Kiri is suddenly published by a young famous actress. As she tries to uncover how this happened, many incidents occur once again that seem too many to be pure coincidence.
