  • She failed AKB48's 13th Generation auditions.
  • She was born and raised in Osaka until she was 3 years old, then moved to Kanagawa. The AKB48 official site gives her birthplace as Kanagawa prefecture.
  • She was given the name "Nana" because she was born on November 7th. Nana can mean "seven" in Japanese.
  • She has an older brother and a younger sister.
    • On Sayonara Mouri-san she shared that her first kiss was with her older brother. She was 5 years old at the time, and she kissed him during a car ride when he was asleep.
    • Her younger sister is named Rina, and appeared with Nana at the 2016 Janken Tournament doing a cosplay from the anime Re:Zero. Rina also occasionally shows up in Nana's SHOWROOM streams.
  • She is known for her serious (majime) personality, especially during variety shows and theater performances. Theater manager Yuasa Hiroshi called Nana "a perfectionist and stoic hard worker. She takes what she is given and returns it at 120%".
    • She developed a code of conduct for the AKB48 Kenkyuusei while she was one.
    • She called Minegishi Minami Mii-san, instead of Mii-chan like other members did, since Minegishi was her senior.
  • She is very athletic. She loves sports, especially soccer.
  • She formed the "Agoshimai" ("Chin Sisters") duo with Nishino Miki because of their sharp chins.
  • She was one of the "Three Musketeers" with Kojima Mako and Nishino Miki. The name was given to them in 2013 as hopeful stars for the future of AKB48.
  • She was on hiatus from May 28th to June 18th, 2016 due to health concerns. She later explained that she suffered from functional hypoglycemia, which is low blood sugar after eating a meal that can cause cerebral or hormonal problems. As a result she also suffered from an eating disorder, overeating, and vomiting during this period.
  • She has expressed that she has more interest in females than males, saying in July 2020 that this may mean she is bisexual. She enjoys yuri manga, has complimented other members' body parts, and is especially known for her fondness of Murayama Yuiri.
  • She runs a YouTube channel with Murayama Yuiri, Mogi Shinobu, and Mukaichi Mion called "YuuNaMogiOn Channel".
  • In December 2021, AKB48 members voted Nana as the best singer among all members of all 48 groups, as well as the strictest member of all 48 groups.
  • In her former official STU48 profile she wrote that her rule is to never give up, and to not add soy sauce to sushi.
  • In August 2021 she appeared as a guest at the JF Oberlin University 100 Cherry Blossoms Festival, modeling a kimono for their kimono fashion show.
