Event / Concert AKB48 Group Unit Janken Taikai 2018 [Kuuki wo yomu na, kokoro wo yome!] (2018/09/23)

One thing I don't like about this event is how it's biassed towards smaller units. I find smaller units pretty boring (especially duos) so would prefer to see them give more slots to groups of between 5 and 10 (or if they're gonna keep doing this switch it up every year.)

 

On the other hand, huge units with just one of them "playing" while the rest just watch throughout the whole event is a bit underwhelming.

 

I asked Nao whether Okapars will make a revenge this year but apparently it’s still a secret.

 

kojina yui, hiwatashi yui, and yokoyui should join the grup and formed team #yuiyuiyuiyuiyui

 

If this doesn't happen, they should at least have their own unit in a future AKB48 Single (Since this really needs to happen lol).

I'm at least hoping the team name for Yuihan/Oguri's Team is YuiYuiYui.

 

Naana and Renacchi are both from the same generation (10th). With Annin in Mexico, Izurina in BNK and Abemaru's situation wtih TPE, they're the only 10th gen members active in AKB right now, so it's not that weird at all.

But I do agree with the other two pairings, those do seem pretty random.

 

I had completely forgotten about this.
I guess it makes sense, just like NaaMako did last year.

I kinda hope the KatoNakoMiru unit makes a comeback this year and gets Top 4.
