Kitano Hinako (Kiichan) / 2nd Gen

I new about her, but I just started noticing her through watching older Under Construction episodes.

 

I believe her disappearance has something to do with the scandal she had with the guy named Chinen Yuri if I'm not mistaken..

 

I thought that was fairly obviously a fake account used as "evidence."

 

I think that was the reason she prolongs her inactivity, not the first reason why she got inactive. She mentioned that there were bad experiences during handshake. And she was stressed out because she needed to keep up her hyped up mood all the time even when she was not feeling like to, and that throw the fans off during handshake. The content of the song "Under" she centered in is also a torture. Essential Under figures like Himetan and Marika are dropping one by one, and she knows that more will be coming. If I may put it, she is facing depression right now. The last thing she wanted was a baseless rumours floating around about her. At one point she exploded her anger in the blog.

Hoping for her quick recovery. She used to be in Senbatsu for a while, and to be honest once she's back she might need to start again from Under. I just hope she becomes stronger after this.

 

Well, I started following these idol stuff a few years ago during the height of AKB and witnessing scandal after scandal by the members (both AKB and Nogi) kinda make me somewhat skeptical about the innocent image they try to portray on camera and now talking about rumors surrounding idols tbh, I believe most of them are actually true, no smoke without fire..

 

It's not that I think Kitano has never dated a guy during her idol career. It's that the proof that was submitted as evidence was incredibly weak. It was a private twitter talking about how she hated Asuka now and bragging about stealing a Johnny away from his fans, etc. It just seemed way too forced. And the person who supposedly submitted it was her "friend" that wanted her to get help... so she sends it to a gossip magazine instead of management? lol

 

well, the management might be aware as well, who knows lol

 

And how would telling a gossip mag help exactly? It's just a bad fake. Surprised it was taken seriously. There's no doubt most idols date in secret, but this was just a dupe.

 

Hoping this a speedy and full recovery for this girl. Her absence is quite noticeable. Hopefully she can come back stronger than ever and solidify her status as perm-senbatsu now that some pretty major members have/will graduate.

She has such a great smile.

 

Her hair is longer! She looks pale and a bit skinnier, but her smile is still as dazzling as ever. Glad to see her again, especially in this uniform!

 

^ Yeah, I noticed that she was thinner. I'm hoping she resumes activities soon. I was also wondering whose uniform she used: I don't think they would've made her one...
