The sky lit up that day
Blinking occassionally
The slightly delayed thunder rang out next to me

Leaning our bodies against the wall of the school
We anxiously considered the coming weather
A raindrop mixed in with the wind
"We can't go home now" you said

My shirt soaked with sweat
And it became hard to breathe
Without a doubt, it was love

Our youth was awkward
All we could do was stare at each other
It was hard enough just to breathe the same air
I hid it deep in a corner of my heart
So I wouldn't realize
"Vita sexualis" is about unrequited love*

The pelting rain had me at my wit's end
I was looking at the muddy ground
The ash-colored sky was filled with lightning
It lit up your profile
