あの空の真ん中辺り
爪の跡みたいな
三日月が取り残されて

雨の日も嵐の日にも
真っ直ぐに前を向き
まだ遠い山の嶺を
目指しながら

家族への愛だけが
自分を奮い立たせる

with the breeze blowing quietly and the light,
and ringing the bell...

In the rain or in the storm
always facing straight ahead
for a mountain ridge that is still far away
he aims while he herds the flock on

He knows that a flat even road does not exist anywhere
With just a little rock salt and love for his family
he cheers himself up

The shepherd does not speak
dreams alone will not feed him
Just to stay alive he continues walking
The ancestors' hills
Laying his feelings on the same earth
a priceless life reaching out to God
prayers reaching out

In the wind, humming to himself,
the nomad's love song
reverberating throughout the hills
The enjoyable passing of time on this happy journey
