SHY48 (short for Shenyang48) is SNH48's 3rd sister group. The group was announced on July 30, 2016 in SNH48's 3rd Senbatsu Election.
I like the fact that the theatre has a Western theatre theme to it. Also, i hope they make good use of the doors at the top!
That is old news. The auditions have been long closed and the 1st gens have been selected although not yet announced or debuted.
SB announced SHY will perform at their Best 50 concert on January 7th 2017. Not sure if that will be their official debut or if we will get anything before that.
The SHY48 web site and weibo are now up and running. www.shy48.com http://www.weibo.com/shy48gf?profile_ftype=1&is_all=1#_0 SHY48 also announces that January 12 will be their stage premiere with Team SIII debuting "Heart's Journey" which was SNH48 Team SII's first original stage.
I don't know where to ask this question so I'm guessing here is appropriate. Does anyone know, or have a guess at how many people are going to pass the CHN48 auditions going on right now? SNH, GNZ, BEJ, and SHY48 are all looking for new members. Who knows they might even recruit members for CHA48 during this current audition too. I just want to hear peoples guesses. I'm expecting over 100. Edit: I'll probably post this question on all the sister group threads.
It was released that SHY48 will start with 34 members in two teams (SIII and HIII). That was from their original auditions though. No new yet as to how many will end up recruited as part of the current auditions (SNH48 8th, BEJ/GNZ/SHY 2nd). The audtions are not yet done.
Good question. Would have to ask SB that but they started every new group (BEJ, GNZ, SHY) with two teams from the get go and then added a third in the following auditons.
if it was only one team they'd have to work overtime, to fit the theatre schedule, cause i don't tink their company would allow them to miss performances.
