Hirate Yurina (Techi) / Keyakizaka46 1st Generation

I'm sure it will clear up, but she has to take care of herself and not talk too much or sing too loudly for a while. Reports are that she didn't talk in either the Saturday or Sunday handshake sessions, but she was there anyway, communicating by nods and expressions and gestures.

 

I think that may have been why she didn't seem as intense as usual in the latest performance of SakamichiAKB. I didn't seem to hear her voice as much as well, except for the parts her voice really had to be heard.

 

sad to know Techi lost her voice due to sore throat hope she will bounce back to 100%

So what do you guys think of the new haircut? It doesn't really change of the other, but making the end a lil bit fluffier, doesn't it make her head larger? And probably her bang are little bit too long?

Not my type of that hair cut really. It makes her look like a mid-age woman. And her bang is always long though. People are always complaining about not being able to see her face clearly when she perform on stage. ~~

 

Lol I think her intensity is amplified whenever her face is covered by the hair and like only like one eye is showing

The thing is, Hirate admitted that she threw her hair to cover her face when she's nervous lol because it doesn't look rude compared to looking down at the floor.

 

In performance, she looks powerful and dangerous with her face half-hidden. In ordinary life, I think covering your face with your hair can be a way to try to escape attention, to hide, to gain privacy. Or for Techi a technique to help divert attention to other members. Or all of the above, lol.

Kakizaki Memi of Hiragana Keyaki has uploaded a blog post about going on a "date" with Hirate (to Starbucks). They are in the same school year and probably go to the same school.

 

That post has become one of my favourite blog post ever, especially when i read that Memi calls Techi "Yurina"

Remember that Techi doesn't really like being called with her last name, and most if not all members in Keyaki calls her with a variation of her first name (Techi, Tecchan, Te-ko, etc). Memi might as well be the only member who calls her with "Yurina"
