Today is the 7-year anniversary of the historic event of Yuihan being promoted as a full member at AKB Tokyo Aki Matsuri Concert 2010..

 

^ Gawd... 2010 seems like so long ago, yet like yesterday... the 9th-gen had just debuted when I got into AKB48 -- during the Korea boot camp Nemousu TV EP... back when Nemousu was still awesome.

Yuihan is a proud reminder of a gen that had something to prove when it debuted (first generation after disastrous 8th-gen garbage purge) -- and did so. She's arguably the finest member of her gen, and a valuable asset to AKS and 48G internationally.

& i think 9th gen is suppose to be leading the akb 2nd generation/chapter.. (if i not mistaken from what i read)
But Yuihan for me, can be considered a 1st gen/chapter member.. Because of her closeness with them.. So does her mindset.. & she follow what her senpai have teach her..

 

For me I always bunched the 1st-10th generation together. Even though there's quite a big age gap between the 9th and 10th generation, they were still a part of the golden age AKBingo which aligns with golden age AKB. You could see in 2013 with the graduations they stopped inviting 1st-10th generation members to the shows and started pushing 11th and higher generations as the next age of AKB.

Man looking back at the old teams and undergirls I really wonder where some of them would rank today. Because there are so many hidden gems due to the powerhouses. Gingham Check was so stacked, the member list for senbatsu, undergirls, and even next girls is crazy. I never even knew Umechan until recent and she's awesome, then there's girls like Kuramochi who couldn't rank past 21 and Maeda Ami, her highest rank was 37th and fell to a point to where she didn't even rank. It's kind of sad because they all had great personalities but never really appealed to the crowd.

Yuirii: No.. But concerning the result, you should have let your bangs grow. And yet, you cut your bangs. I can't understand why you did that survey LOL.

I really wanna see Yui bring back this kind of hairstyle, especially with the bangs. Soo adorable and it fits her so well.

 

I think she looks very grown up and mature in these. A beauty reminding me of Kojiharu; they don't look similar, but they both have a mature beauty that you don't see too often in the 48g as a lot of them try to look young and cute

Yeah.. Yuihan does look more mature nowdays.. Well, can't call her cute always (just sometime hehe).. More to beauty.. Pure traditional japanese look.. (my bias opinion again.. Lol..)

 

I've always compared Yuihan's looks to Bisu -- the feel from how they look is amazingly similar: refined, reserved Kyoto-like beauty... but a fierceness too.


If I never knew Yuihan, and met her for the first time not knowing anything about her achievements or personality... I'd think 'I wouldn't cross this person'.
