Glad I'm not the only one thinking this. It also seems to me that she appears to be talking herself out of a career

 

Paruru will be like Keyzer Soze.... before you know it- she's GONE!! you'll never see her again

She's a woman who about the Future & her Security!!! Real Estate & Rental Incomes?? Manages a Parking Lot?? She got a keen business sense. She needs those in case Acting dries up or she doesn't meet the right guy. It's VERY Impressive & Practical. Yui-han can go off an be a pharmacist (Remember the ICAN challenge). Seriously...what's Mayu gonna do if she can't act or sing? What do any of these gals do when they stop being Idols?? They usually do "real work" - Paruru will have NONE of that!! - lol.

There's a KPOP group called "Honey Popcorn" - guess what it's made of??....ex IDOL's who went into PORN- lol.
One of them is from NMB48 & another is SKE? & some group I never heard of. there's only 3 of them & it's causing a stir in Korea

There used to be articles on SankakuComplex & 4chan about Ex-Idols - where are they now & it's often creepy how some go into Escorting & some suggested "Soap land" - where guys get rub downs by scantilly clad ex-Idols & Gravure models. Oddly though even the Adult Movie industry has it's own level of "Respect". I always thought (feared) Tomomi Kasai would end up in porn - glad she's avoided it.

Can you imagine Paruru w/ a desk job & crappy apartment & a cat...falling asleep in front to the TV....having shaked so many hands only to be alone. Nah..... Pauru's a smart girl.

 

I think what she got was a pharmacy technician/assistant certification. Not an actual pharmacist degree/license which usually requires a 4 year undergraduate degree to enter a 4 year pharmacy school to get a Doctorate in Pharmacology. Time spent in AKB would not be transferable credits. Unless they have VERY lax requirements in Japan.

 

Honestly, I think she just says it for the sake of saying it until it actually happens. As for her agency putting the clamps on her, we know that the less physical work she does the happier she tends to get. So she probably has a good handle on her stuff. Again, I’d take it with a grain of salt unless otherwise.

 

This sounds like a euphemism for "she's lazy." LOL.

Doesn't this just mean that that is what she really wants? If I keep saying that I want to retire until I retire, then that just means that I wanted to retire.

2. It’s like you keep saying want to retire in Maui after a day of work all the while you know you going to hustle and work the next day. Nothing out of the ordinary to me. Besides, when she works, she takes it seriously and only says this when she’s in “off” mode.
There’s a reason I gravitated towards her, seems like we’re in the same wavelength.

 

Problem with this is that giving an interview is not "off" mode; it is part of your professional duties with your agency. "Off mode" would be a text to a friend, not a published article.

I don't know... It seems to me that her career has gone a little downhill lately, from 4 consecutive primetime dramas to a late night drama and now a nobody role in a web drama? heck her role doesn't even have a full name or a proper introduction, that's how important it is. Also, she has no CMs nor mags, her main income right now is her FC that has about 700 paid memberships, she probably doesn't have much left after all costs. Maybe that's why she's kinda desperately trying to sell her goods lol

So to me, it's no surprise that she's thinking about retirement. But realistically speaking, like those comments in the articles said, parking lot and real estate business in the countryside is not as easy as she thinks it is so unless she has a rich husband, she probably still has to work after marriage though

But she was talking about it with her friend Tomochin on her radio show where she's pretty relaxed there

 

I would consider her radio show part of her professional duties, unless she's somehow paying for it herself and had it contractually excluded in her contract with Burning. She promotes herself and upcoming jobs in the show. From 2/28/18.

I also don't see Burning being happy if she said something detrimental to her image, and therefore her marketability, on her radio show. This comment on her show got picked up and put into an article on the web.

 

She has been saying things detrimental for years so not sure why Big Apple would care more now then before.
And Paruru has talked about her wants and marriage plans well before she graduated and has been picked up long before and in many articles then the one you are referring to.

And @hazeleden curious where you find her FC subscription numbers?

It's make me sad, Paruru don't have plan to be actrees in the future.
How about her dream? She want to be Seiyuu she said it when she was graduated from AKB48. I think she will have many chance after graduated from AKB48.

All tickets for the live performances have been sold but the final performance on 4/7 is being broadcast live to theatres throughout the country. Whether fans who cannot attend will see any of it remains to be seen.
