So it took two weeks of break just for them to use it since this post. I still think they had the rights but didn't want to use it. It's not consistent. How do you explain KFC and 47 as background music being used but any 48G song not being used for performance?

 

If I may add, several songs were performed during the Top 200 unveiling.

To be fair, the staff I talked to said it was a rights issue, and I had no reason to doubt them at that time. Obviously, recent events made me rethink everything I thought I knew about this whole thing.

as usual everyone in the Philippines that are following MNL48 is over reacting... i hope they don't do something stupid. Wildcards is very common in TV competition... the winners for this are TV Station and MNL48 because they get attention of fans and non-interested viewers. If adding new aspirants will make MNL48 better then its a good move. Im just happy that Marsela became top 1.

We are still not in the climax of this MNL48 search for the 1st generation and Philippines first and biggest IDOL group.

 

I don't understand anything... 1st gen selected? no? yes? may be?

 

according to online update, there's no elimination until general election.

 

I don't like how they implemented the Wildcards. I recall sometime ago we wanted some wildcards or at least one, but the way ABS and HalloHallo did it is just plain horrible.

I doubt if the 7 Wildcards can even get some fans to like them within a short period of time when there are now fans of more established girls alredy.

Its an Asymmetric Competitive Advantage for Our girls right now.

 

Lol no. After a very loooong audition, we came to a point where we almost reach top 48, from the app voting thing, to top 200, to top 100 and girls kept being eliminated. Then suddenly, we get 27 new girls from a secret audition and they will be joining to make top 75 again aandd there is chance that the top 7 of this 27 secret audition girls to replace the girls who are already top 48 from the original audition.

Way to throw the eliminated girls and those who are of the lower ranks under the bus.

If it was 2 - 3 girls, there wouldn't be much rage. But 27 new girls? What about those who actually made the top 75 of the audition? This is way more than a wild card. If they wanted to rile up the members, then 2 - 3 girls are enough. Maybe they just don't consider majority of the top 48 (I don't remember the exact number) to be good enough.

That's Philippine TV show for you, too many unnecessary surprises. In all honesty they are just dragging the audition far too long.

Edit: Would they be introducing the remaining 20 challengers in the next few days?

 

As expected, twists in reality competitions are common in Philippine entertainment industry.

i just can't help being annoyed roght now.

 

I just want to cry right now for the original Top 48 girls. They had been in their position for 10 weeks and yet, a twist happened today. I don't hate the challengers though but my support is still for the original Top 48 girls.

 

That's why I don't want to play Namida Surprise right now. I'm still shocked and surprised.

 

... this audition will never end, will it?

Maybe radical is not the right word.

 

So, they will be adding 20 more, aside from the 7 challengers.

 

What is even going on with MNL48? Are they STILL holding auditions?
