Well, they have been posting mysterious teasers about them for a while now, for example this one or this one (7 "spirits" + 3 girls = 10 people in the picture I suppose). It is only logical to think that this means there is more significance to them than one appearance in a music video, though no one knows what exactly this is supposed to mean. Another hint for that would be that they have dedicated the whole MV to showing them while not even once showing the girls. They are definitely up to something.
Yui was not at the first concert of the new tour tonight in Kansas City...instead there were 2 un-named backup dancers while Su and Moa did the songs...2 new ones. Concert was less than 1 hour with no encore. Fans are generally p---ed right now since there's been NO warning or mention about what happened to Yui (and she didn't attend the concert in December either due to last minute heath issues, supposedly) Interesting, she's still on the Amuse page
Oh yeah it's her birthday. Hope she's having so much fun on this special day. But I wonder if she's still part of the group. Say health issue is the reason she's not with the group lately (or whatever story line their management tries to pull off), there are several times this ends in graduation from the group. Hopefully not. Babymetal doesn't feel right without Yui. I know the day will come when each of these girls will go their separate ways. I'm just thinking if that day has arrived.
The problem is there is no storyline to explain, she is still in the group but not clue as to when she make her comeback... As for breaking up, had you followed their tour, they debuted 3 new songs, a new look and setup so I'm thinking at least one album on the way and a major tour next year.
They showed Distortion on J-Melo. You can still catch it on a repeat show. (They also played a clip from Teacher Teacher)
From the TT thread: "Teacher Teacher was the featured new release on J-Melo today. Just a clip, but they were shown first at the opening of the show." Maybe 15 seconds. Distortion closer to 1 1/2 or 2 min. I didn't time anything, and I delete my tivo copy after I watch it.
