There are the two STU48 girls that have very clean moves, probably the best 2 imo. They know when to hit hard and let go at different parts of the choreo. Sorry not familiar with STU so I don’t know their names.

YokoYui looks a bit too powerful so it doesn’t look as clean but still excellent. Hijiri also ain’t that bad. Yokomichi managed to sing a bit but looks over-energetic(?). Nagichan looks too cute and she had to dance with that outfit lol.

Aoi was also one of the best. Very clean and nice to watch.

Honorable mentions: Kojimako, Tomu, Ishikawa Minami, Matsuoka Hana, Hinatan and some NMB girls that I’m not familiar with

If you can then just link the videos/screenshot the pictures being displayed as their profile picture/copy paste their names in Kanji, I know all of the STU members by heart so I can tell you who they are

my eye can see the imperfections clearly, but how is Yokomichi lackluster is the one thing I fail to see no matter how many times I watch it. Confused! It's exactly the power and strength that radiates from her performance that is unmatched. (Also she's possibly the fittest girl in the group, I'm sure she'd have enough energy anyway lol)
Could also mention how "lackluster" Kadowaki's forward arm rotation (at 0:25) is, while Yokomichi's (Yokoyama's, Imamura's) move feels like it would rip you in half - Motomura's feels the same "lackluster". Tanikawa does something different entirely.
So is Yokomichi's kick-followed-by-arms-up move easily more powerful, while Kadowaki's is surely cleaner - but to be fair, the latter seems to conceive the move as taking the energy from up and releasing it only down on the next beat - I'm not sure which is the correct one (Imamura and some others seem to follow Kadowaki; hardly anyone does it clear enough to judge though) but I kinda like both versions in their own way (Kadowaki's, if done well, cooly harmonizes with the sub bass that drops there).

idk, after watching most of the supposedly good ones, I still rate Yokomichi almost top 3. Kadowaki technically the best, but Yokomichi has more power at the key moments. Imamura is fine, but I fear all the time when will her legs slip lmao, so many additional steps. I liked Saito, similar style to Yokomichi. Yokoyama and Nakano do great in some parts and suspiciously in others; I think I liked the latter more and I am honestly not sure I'd pick the former based on this alone. Tanikawa felt too rushed to me. Isogai is good, but there's something not feeling right to me, perhaps not balancing the dynamics properly. I kinda liked Kojimako until the kick, then she was clearly out of energy already - applies to many many others unfortunately.
now on to not watching idols dancing for several years again for me:fear::awesome:

I was very specifically referring to one part. At the rotation that begins at :18, she throws in some power but it is nowhere near a pretty thing to watch. If you compare it (and many others) to the same performance at the top of my earlier post, which I quoted from someone else, you can see that the STU girl (I don't know her name, yet) did something beautiful with it whereas Yokomichi and most others just try to show how powerful they can be. It's the difference between an ice dancer and a hockey player. One is beautiful and elegant and the other is rough and powerful.

I was kind of surprised to see Miichan enter, but now that I know she's in I kind of want her to win lol. Get that center girl.

It should be Imamura Mitsuki (今村美月) and Kadowaki Miyuna (門脇実優菜). I would like to know more about them but that takes time so I don’t mind someone introing me to them. I only know their singles as of now.

For members who were a pleasant surprise, shoutout to Kurashima Ami! Only 13 and easily on the level of a lot of veteran performers, I can't wait to see how she improves from here on out~

(whoever was taking the video for her, on the other hand... lol)

I expected a lot more SKE contenders though, aren't they generally considered to be somewhat dance-focused as a group?

If you watch SetoBingo (full Eng subbed here) then you should more or less get a rough idea about who they are

I recommend watching this video (Seifuku Resistance with Imamura Mitsuki, Isogai Kanon and Fujiwara Azusa) and this video (basically the same as the other bu substitute Mitsuki for Miyuna)

Anyway, both of them should be 2 most well-rounded member in STU48. They are good at dancing, their singing is amazing and they have charisma on Stage too. In fact, Imamura Mitsuki was an idol before joining STU (studied at Actor School Hiroshima and was a member of the unit SPL∞ASH). Both of them are right now in an STU unit called STUdio that focuses on performance. I hope that helps~

Actually their selling point is not dance skill tho
imamura is well known for her vocal (graduated from Hiroshima Actor School, which produced many popular idol like nakamoto suzuka (babymetal main vocalist) or Perfume ) while kadowaki is her anime voice and tamanegi chara

Is their Bingo themed? I honestly didn’t enjoy HKT’s one as much when it’s too focused on comedy.

Watched all the videos and judged the girls on technique, precision, energy, sharpness and fluidity, and comprehension of concept; each category expanded between hand and foot work, body and head. Then I pulled one girl from each group

    AKB - Hijiri
    SKE - Makiko
    NMB - Karin
    HKT - Emirii
    STU - Miyuna

I would take Makiko, Miyuna and Emirii as my three. Center would be...

    Sasshi
