Yokoyama Yui (Yuihan) / 9th Generation

I have doubts about mion leadership skills. But I think yuihan knows what she's doing. I prefer juri but I remembered when juri said that if yuihan decided to graduate she will graduate too.. maybe that's the reason she chooses mion over juri.

From my understanding, Yui will train Mion until she ready to take over as GM.. In term of official.. Becos of that announcement, yes, it's official Mion will definitely be GM..
As for how long it takes until Mion be ready that is the real questions here.. Becos Yui said that she want to be just a AKB member (personally i think the meaning is Yui want to be a regular member with no position whatsoever.. )
So, becos Yui also said that she will look forward to AKB 14th year so i guess she will stay around to help guide Mion & nurture her other kouhai..
Urmmm.. Maybe perhaps we will see some changes in coming months..

I'm glad Yuihan isn't graduating! When I saw that Mion was gonna be new GM I was worried lol. I wonder if Yuihan will find it hard being just a regular member after being GM, I have a feeling she'll probably always be treated as such.

 

I think yuihan will fulfill everything before she will turn over the gm position to mion... then after that she will graduate.. just like takamina.

Yuihan is a type of person that will do things the proper way.. So, thats why i think she announce next GM ytd.. & announce grad after GM is ready.. Becos myb this is the proper way from her view..

Since we are not certain when Yui will graduate, could still be a while based on what she has said with no plans on an exact time, yet at the same time it could be earlier than expected, potentially certain things could be her last, so I will try my best to support her to do the best she can in whatever she does however I can

I came here to wish Yuihan a belated Happy Birthday and what do I see? She's preparing Mion for the Soukantoku role!!

I'm a bit surprised because I was so certain it would go to Naachan, but I can actually see this make sense. Takamina was the original center but when Acchan became more favourable, Takamina became captain and eventually soukantoku. Yuihan was the first member of the 9th gen to be promoted and she joined a subunit with Yuko, Sasshi and Kitarie (who were all really popular especially Yuko and Sasshi was on the rise), but then Paruru became the 9th Gen ace (and like Acchan, she left pretty early while Yuihan stayed and was responsibly active for AKB like Takamina).

Naachan and Mion aren't from the some generation but Naachan feels like the current ace/center and Mion was pushed as a center but is now being replaced by Naachan's popularity. I kinda wish Mion was the Team A captain as to not break the tradition (I also almost expected Berin to become GM after Yuihan) but that's just me being picky lol

Anyway, happy birthday again to Yuihan and I hope we get to wait a bit longer until we see her graduation happening!
