I must say I'm very proud of Akicha, she's not an ordinary ex-idol. First she showed open that she'd married Yuji and also posted pics of them together. How many other former 48G members have done that before her? Normally they pose alone in their wedding dress together with friends, if their husbands are there too they are masked. And she has continued to post pics of them together on her blog. Very uncommon.

And now her baby. She posted a pic of him on her blog, unmasked. That's rare. And she posted pics of herself holding the baby in her bosom, both unmasked. I've never seen that before. Compare that to Ricchan who only posted a pic of a small hand.

I would say she has courage for doing so, or is very happy and want to show it to the world. Maybe both.

 

Couldn't agree more but Akicha is the only grad to marry a real celebrity, isn't she? Maybe that makes a difference in how open the girls are when showing their new spouses and even newer offspring to the public. I don't know about such matters since you can write everything I know about the intracasies of Japanese culture on a piece of confetti.

 

I don't know so much about that either, but they are celebrities in different contexts, so it's difficult to rank them.

 

Well, Acchan did marry another celebrity and she does show her husband's face sometimes, but yeah, I don't think even Acchan has shown her baby face uncovered.

 

In America, if a beautiful former pop star marries a hunky sports star, they become an immediate power couple, and the paparazzi are all over them like white on rice, but how much they want their young children photographed always varies depending on their paranoia the couple manifests towards the press. In the U.S., some famous parents don't mind having their youngsters photographed while others consider it completely verboten. I guess it's the same in Japan. Akicha simply doesn't seem to mind it, at least for now, which makes her an exception. Maybe she realizes better than most that celebrity parents produce celebrity offspring. Good for her.
Off topic, isn't it great that the girls getting married and having babies and doing normal young woman stuff? I'm glad that the years and years of ''cloistered existence'' in the group didn't make them wacky when it came to their relationships with men. I realize there's a rash of pregnant ex-members walking down aisle in their wedding dresses but so what? After all, it's 2019, not 1958.

From Akicha's blog and Instagram. While her baby was asleep and har grandmother took care of him Akicha took a walk with her dog. I think it was her grandmother on her father's side because he's coming from the area. I don't know if it's different in japanese or if it's the same as in english, only one word for both grandmothers. Akicha wrote おばあちゃん. Much better in swedish, mormor respective farmor.

 

Akicha has updated her blog, and Twitter, with a new baby pic. She's now using a Ergo hug, Erugo no dakko himo エルゴの抱っこ紐, for to carry her son. Maybe it's a part of Akicha herself we see down to the left?

I must say Akicha is very unusual with all her stories and uploads about her child. She is admirable.

Hahaha. I became good friends with a waitress at a local Chinese restaurant and over time, she would show me pictures on her phone of her ''sister in Boston'' and her ''sister in New York City'' and her 'sister living in Mississippi''. I am embarrassed to admit that It took me months to figure out these girls were simply friends, former co-workers and, even, a Facebook buddy or two. The Chinese certainly do play fast and loose with that ''sister'' term.
