I just got around to seeing the prelim ranking video and this moment was pretty awesome 12-Gen is my favourite late generation of AKB and I don't think they got so much push as a whole. It's pretty heartwarming to see how much each of them care and are happy about their own generation's success

 

I'm so happy for Miyupon ranked in this year! She deserver more than #67 place, maybe next year!

 

I was also really, really happy for Miyupon! I have yet to watch the whole broadcast, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Miyupon's reaction and her speech. Since she declared in her SSK poster and the blog post after the event that her "steady advance" has begun, I believe there are going to be many exciting things in store for her in the future. Her SSK result was even featured on Yahoo News and Sports Hochi, maybe partly because of her baseball player dad.

I hope this is the first accomplishment in a big road to success~ I hope now that she's 16 she gets more exposure. I watched her seitansai in conmemoration of her ranking and she was amazing in Itoshiki Natasha. She would be a great performer if she got more spotlight.

Anyone who's able to watch the making-of of Rinji Soukai AKB48 Group Evening Concert: what does Miyupon say from 27:19 to 27:40? I can't make out all her comments, since there's the background music playing over her speech, and half of the time she speaks into her towel. I understand that she means to do her best from now on, and despite her wavering feelings (?) plans to take this as a positive opportunity? I know this is an old concert, but it was such an important moment for Miyupon that I want to be sure of her own thoughts.

 

To anyone who has the mobile fanclub membership: the interviews of members who ranked for the first time this year are now being published on the official mobile site. Sadly, they're restricted to fanclub members only. If anyone with the access would be willing to share Miyupon's interview, I could translate it for everyone to read.

 

Watched her performance in Team 4's stage on Monday and today. She just looks so beautiful and fierce at the same time during Itoshiki no Natasha... and also amazing in group songs. She's really an amazing performer, I just keep falling in love with her more and more

Yah, I don't know what position she was supposed to be in... but Miyupon totally steals that PV IMO... at least the short version anyway... it was like the first thing I noticed... the camera loves her.

It's the limited set for March, which was only sold online at the official webshop. I think that the first sample photo is the most gorgeous one they've ever taken of Miyupon, and would be overjoyed if I got even the scans of these photos. Just look at her glow!

 

I was just watching some parts of this year's RH, and when 'Eien Pressure' started, I had to blink twice - I hadn't noticed Miyupon there before! But there she was, looking amazing and dancing in Mariko-sama's position. I wonder if there are other songs she's part of, and I have yet to notice...
