^only AKB48 CD songs and theater stages songs are eligible for the for the AKB48 Tandoku RH (at this point).
They will release a detailed list of eligible songs at a later time.

Suzukake is the janken aside, 365 and Kanojo are akb bsides and album track tho

Why? They are all AKB48 songs. There are AKB48 members performing them. They are not eligible for SKE48 or NMB48 Request Hour. Where else would you want them to be?

 

You are setting yourself up for disappointment, these songs were released under the AKB name, they will be eligible.
Jurina won't be an AKB member anymore when the event happens though, so if Suzukake ranks she won't be a part of the line-up.

 

Exactly what Doodle said. All those songs ARE AKB songs, sung by members that are, or were at time of release for longnamesong, full AKB members.

Or by your interpretation, Hashire Penguin won't be elegible. Some of those members are no longer part of AKB, and some no longer part of any of the groups. So the song is not AKB? Psssh. Nonsense.

 

Jurina, Sayanee or Sakura aren't AKB members but kennin members, we already had that discussion in the K stage thread. You don't have to act as if they are, because nobody who has been long enough in the fandom believes it (some pretend to believe it though).

These songs should be eligible for the AKB48 Group Request Hour, obviously. What we had last year was an AKB48 Group RH and that's where songs like Tomodachi (a song with NMB members) and Suzukake Nanchara (centered by an SKE member) won. It makes no sense to hold a Tandoku Request Hour only to have songs eligible that people do not identify with AKB because they are not sung by AKB members in the first place.

And that's why it would be ironic if Suzukake, 365, Kanojo or any other song that is representative of a kennin member were eligible and ranked high or won this RH.

Not like you guys didn't know all that already.

The takeaway from this post is that kennin songs should go to the AKB48 Group RH.

Not that it matter much. This is not about opinion of what have you. It is a fact that a Kennin IS a member, with all the responsibility and rewards it entails. Plain and simple. Respect that.

well we just have to wait and see if @Togasaki is wrong or not. Most of us on this topic think he is, so let's see.

P.S. Tomodachi is a song from an NMB48 single so of course it won't be in this Request Hour. And as we've already said, Suzukake Nanchara will be eligible. It is the 34th major single of AKB48 and it has several AKB48 members in it. Jurina doesn't need to be center for this song to be performed. However, she probably will if the song is ranked, since she will be a part of this year's Kouhaku Utagassen.

 

Suzukake is AKB as AKB can be lol I'm sure it will get a nice rank, but now that Jurina cancelled her Kennin, it might drop in rank a little because yeah...

Actually no, it will not drop in rank on this one because this is a brand-new request hour. All the ranks will be new ranks. in the 48G Request hour, well, that's a different story and it will still rank high.

I'm sure they can invite Jurina to center this because it's HER Senbatsu. I don't see what's wrong with non-Kennin sister group members appearing in Tandoku RQ if they were chosen for the ranked songs in the first place.

 

I think AKB Tandoku RH is for any song that has ever been released under the AKB48 label ( single AKB, album AKB, stage AKB) , no matter who will perfome

Well Suzukake got #1 already so I dont think Jurina fans would now try to make it win the AKB-only request hour.

 

With her wish to see SKE ruling the 48g world I have lots of doubt her fans won't take this chance.

 

Kitarie and Yuria aren't SKE members anymore yet they still sing songs in SKE RH almost every year


Jurina and other kennins will appear if their songs rank

More seriously, and maybe i'm all wrong, but the past events showed that AKB only concerts include shimai group girls selected for singles songs and include kennin girls.
So all the one who were once kennin and Sasshi are likely to show up in this.

 

haha, yeah, also Koichun and Halloween Night are obviously not AKB48 singles cuz Sasshi centered them (sarcasm fully intended) lol

but yeah the logic is fully flawed and is just plain stupid
