I think the person meant brackets and how many pairs there will be and all that

I'm supporting 2 members on this year janken taikai, Sayaya & Sinka. I hope they can reach at least top 14. Especially for Sinka, if she can reach top 14 or even top 7, she'll rock 48G fandom.

May the force be with them.

    I also wonder about that.

The first round in the final 14 will be easy. Each group will finish their finals and we will get 7 winners.
But then what happens with the final 7?
It looks like D will be the group with no obvious opponent.
Is the D winner just going to go up against the B vs F winner?

The winner of one of the blocks gets a bye.

I obviously want Tano Yuuka to win, but I won't be mad is Sinka wins. This'll become the greatest single Janken Taikai winner.

The final 7 form a new unit. That's it, it's done.

*maybe* They'll introduce some competition to decide the center, but that would be a surprise and probably won't be Janken, because they'd need to give someone a bye, and that would be hugely unfair that late in the competition.

No. They always had 8 blocks before, and the number of members hasn't changed. They did this intentionally. If you look at previous year charts on the website, you'll see they go all the way to the center, while the brackets this year dead end at "unit senbatsu"

Eehhhhhh mine is the boring one, yours is the cool one. It looks great! (I'll still be using mine though ofc.)

Maybe they'll decide how to do it on the fly once the Top 7 has been decided. I mean, it's already short with 99 members due to cutting off one block. Cut off the quarterfinal, semifinal and final rounds so it's gonna be shorter than the previous years. Someone has to be the center and I think they can do that later tonight.

I could theoretically pull an all nighter and watch this, but by the time it ends, I'd maybe get all of an hour or two for sleep before I have to go to work. We don't get too many holidays off at my place of employment.
