I can't believe Naachan looks so bad in the back cover.
It's like they just woke her up while she was recovering from a cold or something.

 

Well, I guess everyone has completely different opinions. Nura thinks Naachan looks really nice and even used the photo as her profile picture and here, you guys are saying that she looks like she caught a cold

I think that Naachan was trying to look sexy but model god was not on her side

 

Looks to me more like "Sayanee and Yukirin dropped out. Why can't Sasshi and Mayuyu do the same? I won't be no 1 again this year" look

Yup. She's a pretty girl. She looks radiant in Negaigoto cover but she looks bad in this one She deserves better but hey at least it's not a front cover

 

Despite all these comments surrounding Jurina's face...am I the only one who thinks her smile looks like a cat lol and Sasshi too

 

I think Jurina's face looks fine. And probably not related at all to her position. Even because we never know when they took the shot. Probably they all took separately and without knowing the proper position on the cover (or maybe they knew...) but it's a photoshoot, they took 1.589.790 pics.And someone choose that pic. But on the other hand, Naachan pic... Jesus Lord, why?
And I assume they are expecting YuiYui to rank high (like under girls maybe)!!!
Her pic is same size as Naachan!
I honestly think she will rank around future girls.

 

I'll give respect to Naachan.. She is still trying to do her best, eventho she might be sick that time.

I was wondering, does anyone know what's the lowest rank in the SSK did any regular all-HS-slot-sold-out member ever got? By regular maybe let's say someone who has been selling all her slots for at the least 5 consecutive singles.

Wasn't it a fad in Japan recently to wear makeup that made it look like you were hungover or sick? That's what I assumed Naachan was going for, not that she was actually sick at the time of the shoot. Aside from her problems last year and a brief illness earlier this year she's been pretty healthy during her time in AKB.

 

I dunno that idols would be officially supported to wear makeup like that XD

I totally agree with people saying the front cover looks poorly edited - that was the first thing that struck me about it. And that Naachan looks really tired on the back cover. She has huge bags under her eyes and raccoon circles XD They couldn't edit that shit out? I wonder if it's a fashion statement but it's more likely a reflection of her busy schedule.

That fad was 3 years ago now. Its petered off to just a fairly thick application of blush on the cheeks rather than under the eyes.

 

I feel like it's definitely tired and the factor of wanting to look sexy. If the photo is shot recently or a few weeks ago, Naachan has been traveling back and forth. She has also been waking up really early.

 

Thought her condition was a chronic one... so would not be surprising for her to look a little knackered

There're 44 of them, names in italic mean members who have all of their slots sold out but don't participate on sousenkyo this year. So there're 39 members who have all of their slots sold out & do participate on sousenkyo this year.

If I can assume that these 39 have secured their places on top 80, 39 isn't even half of 80, there will be other 41 who'll rank.

I'm glad that all of my oshimens are among these 39. I get less anxious about them. I hope it's a good omen for them & they'll rank much higher than last year on top 80.

 

Yes Paruru is the face of that trend. And no I don't think it's 3 years ago, maybe 2? And it's also not Naachan's makeup that's making her look tired. It's just her expression...

 

The book is published by Kodansha, publishers of Weekly Young Magazine aka YanManga who in my experience are absolutely chronic for poor choices of pics, weird ugly costumes/swimsuits and general disappointment in their gravure so it's no surprise when I see something like this.
