There's no one type B song in this single that make me love it in my first time watching/listening it.

    Song:
    Negaigoto > Sasshi > Jurina > Mayu > Sayaka

    MV:
    Sasshi > Mayu > Sayaka > Jurina > Negaigoto

It's Keyas 2nd single main B-Side, which is imo a really good song and is overall liked more than the A-Side.
I guess his/her point is, B-Sides don't have to be worse than the A-Side.

    @48th single
Like them all, it's nothing ground breaking but it works.
I am really liking this format.
Instead of Team- or Group songs, having a mix of the groups. Makes for really intresting and balanced formations.

Of course in my biased view, Sasshis the best. Sasshi center + Yuuriripon first row. What else do you need?

Why shouldn't we be though? I actually like these B-sides, but AKB and its sister groups have put out some amazing B-sides over the years so of course people might be disappointed or critical if it doesn't live up to what they expect

I feel like a pariah, disliking Jurina's and Mayuyu's, but liking Sasshi's and Sayanee's. :hehe:
Jurina's is rather cool, but simply not my taste. Mayuyu's tries to get that aesthetic vibe but just falls short and hence is just plain boring. Sayanee's is also not that fun, but the colours are gorgeous and the simple posing just does it for me. Sasshi, super vibrant, fun scenes, fun CG, and the song is good as well. I honestly struggle with seeing how people dislike it, but each to their own I guess. Looking forward to the full versions~

Or BAre Bare Bushi... or Kangaeru Hito or Seijun Tired

I think people bitching because the A side has crappy PV and people were expecting they'd spend more on the B sides

    • Ima Para: I really like the song (it brought me nostalgia, as Hinoi Team was one of the very first Japanese groups I started to like) and the costumes! But I agree that the color scheme looks quite HKT-like (especifically, it reminded me a lot to 'Saikou Kayo') and yes, the dancing is slower than expected, looks more like a para-para tutorial than the dance itself.

    • Maebure: That's my personal favorite - I think the photography and use of colors is BREATHTAKING. Mayu's solo lines doesn't drown the song and everyone looks so beautiful. It's pretty melancholic, and gives me vibes of my so-missed Sakura-themed singles + a bit of elegance a la Nogizaka (probably some Sakamichi fans may disagree, but it's my opinion - the intro gave me that impression). The song is translated as 'Foresight': a first call for Mayu's upcoming graduation, maybe? It gave me the vibe. I found funny that they paired Mayu with Miku, people would have expected her to be with Sakura but I've always got the impression that while she respects her as an idol, Mayu does not like her much at all. Again, that's my perception.

    • Tenmetsu Pheromone: Wasn't expecting to like this, but I LOVE IT! The use of red plus bright lighting makes it very pleasant to the eyes. And while some seem to dislike Jurina's blond hair, it was one of the few times I actually found her sexy and wild, she makes the look work a lot (this looks way better than the cringy mess that's Akai Pin Heel). And we got Tano and Megu sharing screentime! Lovely. Everything looks so good here, and I'm happy that Tomu is part of this unit because she suits cool concepts way better than those schoolgirl-themed the management tends to put for b-sides. Ahh, and I retract my previous statement that it sounded Morning Musume-like, now with the better quality of the audio, it doesn't. My second favorite b-side to be honest.

    • Anogoro no Gohyaku Yen Dama: The one I liked the least - the vintage feeling is nice, but the song itself sounds like a discarded track from RAINBOW (Sayanee's solo album). It's not bad, but it's a letdown considering this is the unit with most of the best singers from the 48G. My kami is here, but still...no. I love a good ballad but this doesn't standout, there's zero balance (sadly).

I think Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara would have been a better referrence

Back to the b-sides, I was a bit disappointed with Jurina's. I guess I was hoping for something else.

Sashi's had a good concept, unfortunately, it felt like they failed to showcased the fun, energetic vibe of the parapara game. Then again, did the song contain any reference to the game? I forgot where I got the idea that it had, hahaha.

Over all, I think the single is ok, but far from being among the best we had in recent years. Now had the PV contained the choreo of the first live and had an amazing concept, then this single would definitely go up in the ranking.

I'm not saying people shouldn't be disappointed or critical but the level of some of the hysterical criticism on this forum gets ridiculous sometimes.

B-sides are a bonus, up till 2010/11 there was only 1 coupling track per CD, it's only after that there were extra coupling tracks so they really are a bonus, pretty much free & gratis. So going mental over their perceived quality is a bit much....especially considering that not everyone complaining is necessarily buying the single.

some people only get to see their oshis in the b sides as well? idg the need to be so judgey about what people like/dislike. everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

It's rare to see this "kind" of B-side discussion in another group single thread of this forum. Only AKB single, most of the time.:fear:

Not a fan of the b-side PVs, they look cheaply made. To those who say of course they are since they're b-sides, sure it may explain the reason behind it but that isn't going to make anyone like them more. Sayanee's song is just walking through beancurd curtains and Jurina's looks like some Egyptian horror ritual

Generally speaking I lowered my standard for AKB singles ever since Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai , so I won't get pissed off in every single they put out these days lol which also means if they do put out a good song I can appreciate it fully.

Since you can't do shea about it, you might as well learn to enjoy it.

Also you are right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But when I see multiple users just whines and moans about every single fricking song AKB comes out it just grinds my gears :D

If you're right, I'm gonna cry. Do you think she's gonna pull a Marikosama in case she wins the SSK? I don't want to see anymore originals graduate :( i know the day will come and we're getting closer eacher day but the idea makes me sad

@bonjourmarlene I think it's VERY likely - I mean, she's 23 and while there are members who graduated older (Yuko, Kojiharu, Mariko to say some), I understand that Mayu wants to pursuit acting more seriously, and sing songs more relatable to a young woman. Her image has matured a lot over the years, she's ready.

It's gonna hurt a lot, but I don't want to see her stuck or being relegated in singles (thing that has happened since the end of 2014).

There was an interview by Oricon during 3rd gen 10th anniversary of their thoughts about graduation.

Mayu says something along the line that she will graduate if she gets a strong "it's now" feeling.

Yukirin says she enjoys being in AKB and never thought about graduating as long as she can do what she wants as solo while in AKB. She mentioned her solo concert as an example of something she was able to do while still in AKB. Hence she's still here.
