I remember JKT starting huge with bandwagoners, and they markets JKT hugely by promoting them as 'AKB's sister group', 'sister group of the biggest most popular idol in Japan', and advertisement with Yamaha Motor and Pocari Sweat that was so big everyone i know knew about JKT and remembers Heavy Rotation chorus.

They promoted SNH the same way, though not as big as JKT (because of the Anti Japan), and advertisement with Pocky and even sending their best singers to China Got Talent. They promotes SNH heavily in the net, and it pays off.

They'll always find a way, don't worry.

 

i hope that they will still honor the first phase applicants because its unfair for the girls, they announced auditions and accepted applicants but the 2nd phase was sooo delayed.

yep. lets hope and pray that they will do well. hehe

 

Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind an AKB sister group with some K-Pop flair. I actually have been wondering what it would be like if AKB had a sister group with South Korea, since K-Pop is just as a booming business as J-Pop. So, if AKB would never get to do one for K-Pop, if Manila Pop is more interested in K-Pop, I say go for that look/sound with MNL.

I mean, look at SNH: they sent 7Senses to South Korea so they can train in the K-Pop idol system and are trying to implement it with their C-Pop. Honestly, nowadays, I am listening more to 7Senses' debut single than SNH and all sister groups. I'm from America and I prefer J-Pop over K-Pop, but, I can listen to some K-Pop, I even have a YouTube playlist for K-Pop music and I tossed in at the end 7Senses because of what they did with the unit. I mean, clearly the market is there.

And if Filipinos are more into K-Pop than J-Pop, I highly suggest AKS/production team toss in their hats to pick up on the K-Pop scene.

 

lmao,, so my friend and I were observing the new Top 1's progressing likes.. and it's literally questionable how she got a lot of likes within a small timeframe.

At 9:01 AM today, she was Rank 9 with 1,217 likes.
And at 8:32PM at the same date, she had finally reached Rank 1 with 2036 likes.

Literally 800+ likes within 12 hours? lmao I've been an applicant for around 4 months and all I got are 140-ish likes;;;;;;

 

Having that much likes in such a short time is kinda suspicious lol
Maybe she's famous or smth

 

She's at the very least a model based on her instagram, which is private and i think inactive so i didn't bother to follow. Couldn't find anything on facebook.

But having 4 friends to like your profile every minute is super, well, suspicious? Everytime my friend I refresh the page, 5 likes have been added.　Plus the fact that she only joined last week Thursday/Friday makes it even more suspicious. She has almost garnered 2000 likes within a week!　；ｖ；

Also, she has a boyfriend, and a modelling contract..;; I don't have the picture right now, but she uploaded on her Facebook My Day "I love my boyfriend."

 

i think shes a model that wants to be a star and treats MNL48 auditions as a stepping stone, just like people on youtube, so that they will become "sikat". probably shes already famous, IF she already has a boyfriend then that makes her not qualified (unless she breaks up with him), so other applicants have still a chance.. haha


probably they also make multiple accounts so they can like many times..

And all I got is 97(?) likes in six months. Haaaaaa, I dunno about what really is behind her. Having all that likes in just a few days, yeah, it's really suspicious. Let's just hope that she didn't break any rules (contracts, boyfriend). She's pretty, but I have not seen her video. Did she upload any video?

According to legit source she's not a regular artist and she doesn't have any contract
