[GENERAL] The AKB48 Thread

Matsuoka Hana says hi. Hana lives(?) or at least performs in Fukuoka yet they can spend such much on Hana but not a potential star? Besides, if anything, Naru can move to Tokyo.

 

So it's just management favoring SG over Akb48 members...

Not pushing her?

— Top three in most Team 8 songs;
— Great positions in the recent AKB B-sides;
— Always being promoted as one of the team's top members and faces, in TV shows, live performances, magazines; and by top I mean top!;
— Center of the Aitakatta stage;
— Solo concert;
— Gravure, including solo;
— She was in the Kamen Rider movie and she's going to be in another one;
— She's regularly on AKBINGO! despite being from Kyushu.

No, she is pushed. The only thing missing is an AKB senbatsu. But they're doing this because of her fans, they're playing with them. Naru fans are the type that gets extremely hyped for the Sousenkyo and are usually displeased with this situation. That's why they always unite everyone to vote for her, including DDs. If the management includes Naru in a senbatsu then the "we need to vote for poor Naru so that she can finally be in a senbatsu, we need to show those bastards" narrative dies and the hype could vanish. They're doing the same with Nako. Look what happened with Yuiyui: although she's more popular, since she's in almost everything, most people weren't as hyped to vote.

Compared to how they push SG new aces, yes, she's not pushed much.
And Nako from Hkt48? She dropped in the recent election so I dont think it's a good example.

 

How about Nagi though? Her only A-side was BwT but she only had a 1 position rank up.

No, it's a great example. She dropped this year, but they've been doing this with her for years now, even when she reached the UG.

You said that if Naru gets positions in A-sides, then people are less likely to vote so what about Nagi? She only ranked up 1 since the 8th SSK and she has only appeared in one A-side. Nagi is in the same exact position as Naru so why aren't Nagi fans responding or as well as Naru fans? I'm just questioning why you think that if Naru gets into A-sides then her will be less hyped when there are others like Nagi who could be said the same.

 

It's their type. If you talk to any Naru fan you're probably going to understand what I'm saying. Her sentai is awesome, they always do a great job. Yuiyui and Nagi? They didn't even had one this year. You could also ask why Sayanee was never close of beating Sashiko or Mayuyu when she has so many fans, or why was Berin out of the top-100 when she's one of the best selling members of the 48G.

 

idk what some of you peeps are talking about but Naru is pushed as hard as SG next gen members...in Team 8.

While it might be true that management's strategy is to keep excluding her so fans get hyped for sousenkyo, I don't think it's a good strategy. Particularly because senbatsu has been lacking in young members from AKB. They did this with Tomu and it worked, but I think Naru has a lot of things that Tomu didn't, namely singing/dancing talent. Management doesn't care though, their strategy works lol.

 

Their fault for not giving SG more single release. Imagine if team 8 got their well-deserved debut CD.

But as the person above said, their strategy works lol.

get a new agency not helping Mako so much

 

Annin, Haruppi, Tomu, Fuuchan sat out SSK so are getting various levels of the cold shoulder, Mako ranked down.

Hana is in ahead of Mio/Meru despite ranking far lower and well....being less photogenic (imo).
