I regret more doing marathon on lots of Dramas prior to this one
The suspense of waiting new episode each week gives the drama an added value. Also it makes sure you sleep well...

 

How the drama reception in the japan? Is it good or bad? Or just another drama in sea of dramas?

 

The problem is that it is a late-night drama, so can't expect much about viewership ratings. Maybe most people will just make a recording of one before watching it later on.
I take that from this link, just in case it mentions Ikoma's JUMP drama got around 2% ratings, which is considered good, but Video Girl Ai can't even get one digit.

i still haven't watch Denai Shoujo yet, is that really good? cause i've read somewhere that tell the series not that good..

P.S i haven't watched it because i still can't take the fact that my baby Naachan would do a skinship with other guy lol

 

The story takes place 25 years after the original series, so it stands on it's own. No need to read / watch the original Video Girl Ai itself or whatever the review was back there with the original series.

That being said I'd say the story itself is nothing new. In the end it's about teenagers in love, with a touch of Virtual Woman from a Video came out alive from the TV.
Basically it's like watching The Ring, however you got Nanase instead of Sadako

The thing is, it's not even her first to act like that in a Drama. I'd say eventhough there are lots of skinships here, the way they convey the acting is pretty innocent, compared to the way she acted on "49" Drama.

 

maybe you'll say i'm strange, but for me it's nothing compared to Denai Shoujo

and now i'm really curious with the drama, but my heart still can't take those fact errr i'm such a coward
