Always glad to see Habu selling out all of her slots. <3

This isn't nice to see. Ever. :(
I really hope next round she has come slots sold out, but I doubt it will happen. Argh.

Glad the unpopular handshake members sold a lot of slots this round lol.
Hoping for another Manafi and Mao increase!

For me mou mori e kaerouka is the best song of this EP so far and the hiragana as the boring one, I only like dare yori mo takaku tobe, that drama opening’s song and 5 cantik’s song from hiragana so far, hope their stand alone album would get more quality songs.

I just want to let people here noe that for this single I'm also offering people discounted priced keyaki CDs. This is especially good for people who lives abroad and only wants to collect the CDs with no use for the event tickets (and potentially the photos)
This discount could be as much as 50% off regular price.

If interested please dont hesitate to let me know.

Hi! Welcome. What you say is like what a number of Japanese posters are saying: that the Ima ni Miteiro MV is simple and beautiful. Personally, I love the song and the members, so any chance I get to see them is okay by me. But I totally love both the harder Kanji MVs. This MV is done by an award-winning young (26) video director, Yamada Kento. He not only did the OP/EDs for Re:Mind, but has done MVs for Glay, Utada Hikaru, BiSH, Suchmos and Arashi, and has won awards. Links.

The song is written by the same pair who did Garasu no Ware and W-Keyakizaka no Uta:
    music作曲:前迫潤哉 Maesako Junya
    music作曲:Yasutaka.Ishio

Question, is there a reason to believe that Keyaki is still doing well mainly due to Yurina? I had the impression based on handshake, and I guess other members' outside projects like Neru's PB that the difference in Yurina's popularity compared to the other keyaki is nothing like the big discrepancy that Hashimoto Kanna had with her groupmates.

Is there a reason to believe that replacing Yurina as center is too big a risk? Afterall, a big part of the sales will still be from handshake. So unless Yurina fans will stop buying handshake if she's not center, there's not much to fear.

And its not like Hirate will get the non-Hirate treatment screentime wise if she's not center. If someone else is center, the screentime distribution will likely feel like a double center with her.

I feel like it has more to do with the group image than popularity, they have created this dark and artsy atmosphere basically around Hirate that makes it hard for the others to replace her in the center position

i doubt they keep Techi at center because they're afraid of a big drop in sales. it's probably related to what they believe will provide the best performance. There is a reason the mv directors, choreographer, etc feature her so much.

In terms of the Techi effect, i think if she wasn't there the sales would maybe closer to the 48 sister groups. i doubt she makes much difference amongst the traditional idol fan, but i believe she helps bring in a lot of people that wouldn't usually be into jpop idols.

Okay, that was fast. I went from only liking "Ima ni miteiro" to just adoring it. Its melodies have a way of lingering in your head. Subtle, but strong. Much like Hiragana themselves. And now that I've watched it with the subs @ukifune provided (thanks for all the translation work you do!), it only reinforces that bittersweet feeling I get while listening to it. It's an underdog's anthem, and I'm glad it ends with Mirei's smile.

And I'm not surprised the MV director is an award winner. Ima ni's video is beautiful. Like, staggeringly so.

Ima ni miteiru is one of the few b-sides I've listened to from Keyaki but the music video was so pretty(beyond honestly I loved the dance they did with the chairs and them sitting together in the beginning) and the song was just perfect(I'm thinking about it now just after one listen it's truly beautiful). Thanks for the subtitles as they added even more to the song!
