Good morning ☀

Today is the final performance of musical #Site. Matinee is Moon group’s final performance, Soirée is Star group’s final performance

And today, 7 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. I couldn’t return to Tohoku because there’s a stage play this year,
But I want to sing with the thoughts of people in my hometown in mind.

Since there was no place to settle in the hall immediately after the show, when I was doing a silent prayer behind the cable wires to the backstage entrance, I was laughed at by customers who happened to pass. Maybe because I stood at the place where there’s nothing? But it’s a silent prayer…

I just noticed this now

It’s the first time I stand on stage with this hairstyle (laughs)
Blonde short hair Very Angry Saorin! It’s the opposite of the long black haired HaruKana, but both are high school student (laughs)
Since it’s unknown when it will be the last time to see Iwata’s high school appeareance (←), you should see it ( ˘ω˘ ) (LOL)

And then! My voice training master, Imaizumi Rie-san also came to see me!


I’m always nervous when I’m singing and Rie-san is watching,, (LOL) (LOL)

Honestly, in the solo song this time, the key is quite high.
For me who is aware that I’m not really good at singing (*TL note: NO, YOU’RE GREAT AT SINGING!) , I always tremble every time, (LOL)
Today Rie-san watched and praised me, I got more confidence.
It’s been a long time since I sang a lot in musical, I met Rie-san, and I remembered 「That’s right, I had a play」

That’s why I was able to sing pleasantly in the actual performance in the frist day
As always, I was always being helped by people around me.
Rie-san was also my co-star during previous work. Even at Site, like Rie-san, I hope that I can still meet someone who can have a longtime relationship even after the work ends ◎

Star group first day performance

Today was also 「Site」’s actual performance!
It’s star group’s first day performance ⭐️


The moon group and the star group are completely different, it’s really interesting!
Even with the same role, you can see such differences by just by changing the performers! And I am always amazed!

The only double cast in the main casts, Cyborg


Natsume Takumi-san from the moon group and Yokota Yoshiki-san from the star group, both played a totally different Cyborg, it’s really interesting! For me personally, Takumi-san’s Cyborg’s irritation for being not familiar with everyone has a fairly emotional impression. I can’t forget Takumi-san’s expression when doing the play together in the practice hall.
Then, Yoshiki-san’s has a shy and pretty cute aspect, it’s really Cyborg that has an impression of really honest and has kindness mote than everyone! I always laugh whenever he said 「Good morning」while he’s grinning (laughs)
It’s Yoshiki-san who will play the main roal in the next Musical Za’s performance 「Time Flies」! I hope we can get along more by May ^ ^

I said it twice but I still can’t believe it.
Isn’t it too fast? (laughs)

Actual performance + play and full rehearsal, until the general probe, I thought that they are still something missing!!!
I feel like I’ve met such good work that much

Today, Matinee was the Star group, and Soirée was the Moon group ⭐️

I’ve wrote it yesterday, but both team are good!
My favorite especially the 2 Sophies!



I can’t really write informations that can be spoiler, but there’s one scene that involved struggling, that can cause clash during the play,
I love both Sophies ^ ^
Since I also have a triple cast experience, I feel like I really understand the challenges and difficulties on the scene where someone else played the same role beside myself.
While thinking that it would be tough and there are a lot of things to think about, I also got a lot of hints as I watched everyone’s doing their best to bring out their individuality to the fullest ◎

I had lunch with Moeno-san in the afternoon ♪
It’s great, isn’t it ^ ^
Even though we co-starred together, we unexpectedly never talked to each other until this afternoon! I was glad that we talked about various things today!
However, I wasn’t able to learn the way spider are written,,, (LOL) (LOL)
I ate ice cream, and prepared for the evening performance


Today, Endo Marin who co-starred with me in musical 「Maria and Princess the Green」two years ago came today! Team MariPuri

I was really moved by the standing ovation from the grand final performance. Thank you very much







I have a lot of memories!!!!
It’s really a fun company
Personally, with my favorite, King Hikikomori,,



I was wondering if I would be dying in laughter when I first had a scene with King Hikikomori during the practice,,

Almost all of them are ad-libs of Aoki-san, but really, , it’s like give me a break, it’s surreal and interesting,
I laughed at every performance sleeves. (LOL)
Tomo~mi-san who was singing without laughing at that was amazing. (LOL)

This time, I called her from “Kasai-san” to “Tomo~mi-san” ♡ Because our dressing room was always the same, with Moeno-san, all 3 of us always laughed (LOL)
Although it’s a serious role that kept appearing on stage, seeing Tomo~mi-san who seriously faced the role without saying even one complaint, I have learned a lot.
She’s really a wonderful leader and wonderful senior.
Usually I don’t get a lot of chance to co-star with HoriPro seniors, so this time it’s really fun and I learned ^ ^

【Iwata Karen Reconstruction Photo VOL. 10】「Circle of Art」

Good afternoon! This is Iwata Karen ^ ^

Recently I settled from the biting cold, it feels like the spring is coming soon.
At the same time pollen started to fly, isn’t it?
I’ve never been bothered by pollen my whole life, but when I look at my surroundings, there are many people who are seemingly look painful
Everyone please don’t forget about pollen countermeasures!!
So then, this time I visited Ishinomaki City ^ ^

After all, seafood is the pride of Ishinomaki, but on the other hand, the damage caused by the earthquake was also great.
Can you guess how many times I’ve visited Ishinomaki City?
It’s countless.

The first place I headed was 「Hiyoriyama Park」 located on a small mountain top.


Many citizens also evacuated here during the Great East Japan Earthquake.
From the hill, a big torii is still overlooking the city of Ishinomaki.

Next I headed to the Ishinomaki City Art Gallery, 「Ishinomaki Kiwamari Sou」.

Here in Kiwamari Sou, is a hideout-like gallery that was made after the disaster from the housing from more than 70 years ago

The representative, Arima Kaoru-san is from Aichi prefecture, an artist who receives high praise from domestic and foreign countries due to her painting and drawing.
In 2017, the place was used as the exhibition hall of 「Reborn Art Festival 2017」 held in Ishinomaki City, then opened as 「Ishinomaki Kimawari Sou」.

She told me that she wants to create an art environment that the people of Ishinomaki can enjoy.

To be able to communicate and gain even a little trust from the people of the city, she also moved to Ishinomaki.
「If I stay her for a long time, art lovers might gather. Ishinomaki can be the base for contemporary art in Tohoku」 , as she talked passionately about arts.

She said 「I hope someday it can be managed by Ishinomaki artists only」


On the first floor, works of a sculptor living in Ishinomaki City, Chiba Fumie-san, were exhibited.

When you go up to the second floor, there is a space that creates a strange aura.


It’s the work of media director Shimawaki Yuu-san, It is said that it represented trees and flowers made from free papers which were no longer needed.
Shimawaki-san, like these free papers, he seems to have stuck in “finishing his role”

The books which were put in disorder, were the books that have already finished being read.
It seems that this work was born from the thought of 「I want to remember the things that weren’t needed anymore」.


From the request the woman on the biggest panel 「I want to be photographed in nude and reborn」herself that he took the picture.

It seems that the nude photograph was enshrined because it was a sign of breaking away from past self.
Shimawaki-san said 「It’s a little funeral for her who was reborn, including the meaning of encouraging her」.


As someone who is studying photography as well, there are a lot of works in Kimawari Sou that made me moved.


From the window of the second floor of Kiwamari Sou, you can see the temporary housing is being dismantled.

Photographer Furusato Hiromi-san said, 「I should be glad, but somehow feels lonely」

At the same time as the reconstruction proceeds, the lives of people in these seven years will gradually disappear.

Even though the shape disappears, the feelings and efforts there will never disappear.
Even now, Tohoku still work hard.

Karen will still be busy for some time, for her next musical "Time Flies". Let's wish her the best!
