Single Hinatazaka46 1st [Kyun] [2019/03/27]

Just a personal opinion, but I think the 2nd gens have been in the group long enough for it be feel natural to have one be center. I'll echo several others here though, hope they'll have a max of 2 singles in a row with the same centers, since changing the center will let them show new sides of the group.

Hinatazaka saikou!

 

OMG! I love the cover. The font style is also good. And that drawing is so wallpaperable!!!

 

I love the covers so much! The costumes in the banner giving me Lawson vibes lmao but love everything. Kyun really is a good song MV is being released tomorrow!

 

this is too nogi style..not a hint of keya at all. but nogi style of cover which either looking gorgeous like a model(like type A) or doing something( like type C) are always the best.

 

Sony really got its money's worth with that drawing (based very closely on a photo or photos?). That image will be around for a long, long time. Really represents the Happy Aura. I like the photo images, too, but it's interesting to see two happy images and two rather stern images. Two sides to the group? Too bad for the final four -- Konoka, Sarina, Mana, Mao -- who are somewhere there in the background this time. Hinano and Hiyori look great in motion.

Definitely a Nogi-like look. And I'm not complaining. This is the Hinata look. It shares with Keyaki being like a bunch of girls in a club room, but it has more of the Nogi aesthetic.

Basically all the main things expected of an idol group. All the things that made old-time AKB a phenomenon. No wonder they create such high expectations…

When I heard Kyun for the first time I think it was not very Sakamichi-like, but after I listen to it more, the song becomes more and more catchy
After watching the MV, I really like it now
The MV is very Hinatazaka style, especially the dance
very happy that they didnt turn to a 2nd Nogizaka like what some fans were talking about

 

I actually like the song and the music video overall. The sky blue outfits suit them well and are very refreshing. Of course, there is not even a glimpse of Keya left because they are NOT part of Keya anymore. On the side note, I'm happy for Hinano, who gets a chance to debut, not so long after her introduction to the group. Her senpais are working hard for it. Best of luck to Hinata-chan!

The outdoor sports field scenes were shot at the municipal sports ground in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture (長野県佐久総合運動公園陸上競技場)...not that far from Memi's hometown.



No solid info yet on where the school scenes (indoor and outdoor) were shot.

Memi's expressions and sharp, energetic dancing were both great. And not hers alone. The dancing was good all round. This group is going from unknown to a constellation of stars in a couple of days. So, so strong.

Now if only people who liked the MV take a look at GanaOshi this weekend, there will be a lot of new Ohisamas around.

Outstanding blog post from Kosakana, saying that she really didn't expect to be centre this time, and saying that the front row, all with experience of centre, told her everyone has worries, and she shouldn't let them bother her. Everyone has weaknesses, and that's not a bad thing. And not just the front: when she looks around at all the members glittering and sparkling around her, she gains strength. She hopes to work to make Hinatazaka46 into a major group, and invites fans to become the suns (Ohisama) in their sky, shining down on them.

 

The MV was so fresh I love it with its little hints of elegance too. I expected a storyline mv but this is better imo
