I have seen the concert, I loved it, it was a great surprise that Yuko appeared, Takamina is very sensitive, she cries at the slightest emotion and this was one of the choreography that I enjoyed like a child.

That Densetsu no Sakana performance was just perfect legendary!

Apart from the Kami 7 member's appearances this was, together with the Beginner dance intro one of the most epic parts of the whole concert ...

well, the encore was epic in it's own right, Miichan just nailed Watashi wa Watashi and Mata Aeru Hi Made

I noticed how proud the 1st gen member looked when they stepped forward for Sakura no Hanabiratachi, Miichan for a just moment looking like the benjamin of the group again.
Giving all the members the respect the deserve by naming them and allotting them their moment
Ayunee's speech was just perfect

btw, they kinda made it look that Miichan graduated from two original teams ... Team A and Minegishi Team 4, and in a way that is fitting, as Miichan in fact had two careers in AKB

And Miichan just looked radiant throughout (and happy, sad sometimes, but mostly still happy, kinda like in the last shot of the Mata Aeru Hi Made)

and notice how they sort of recreated the lasers of the original Densetsu no Sakana MV at the start
(not unhappy about the change of costumes by the way, never was a fan of the MV costumes with those transparent skirts, these costumes aren't stellar either, but still much better .... Miichan's dress however!!! she looked like a thing of magic dancing behind Komiharu at the start)

Just watched Mii-chan's grad concert and damn so emotional It's also been awhile since I've watched a concert or a 48g concert for that matter (last time was mayuyu's grad) It wasn't a crazy big concert like kojiharu's for example, but it really made me feel and realise that this is the end of an era... the final first gen to graduate. I'm probably gonna be even more emotional once yukirin graduates coz that'll mean it's the final og member to graduate but i dont even wanna think about that yet Once again, congrats on your graduation mii-chan!

The other day, after a year's delay, AKB48's Minami Minegishi's graduation concert was held, and it was a performance filled with many of the best parts of AKB48, and everyone was united in their desire to make Miichan's graduation concert the best it could be☺️.

The first one is the opening costume. Here it is↓.

This is the last new costume that Miichan wore in her career, and she really liked it because it had a classical and girlish feel to it. It was also a different costume for the opening that I had envisioned a year ago. The first dress is a thank you to Miichan for not being pessimistic about the postponement of the event, and for doing what she could to show her attitude to the younger members.

The second dress is the legendary fish dress.The second dress is the legendary fish dress. There are no pictures of her wearing it because of the quick change, so this is a picture of her on the torso.

This is her first center song and the song for the AKB48 45th general election, so I wanted to make an outfit that would make the fans happy. I was wondering what the fans thought of the graduation dress, and when I saw the comments from fans on Mii-chan's Youtube, I thought "I think Mii-chan's dress will be light blue! So I decided to make the dress according to her request, because it fits the image of the song.

I'm sure you'll agree that it's a great idea to have a dress that's not too light blue, but a beautiful color in between. ☺️By the way, Miichan is actually one of the worst members ever at changing clothes quickly The processing of this quick change outfit is pretty simple, but the material is delicate and it can be worn with a magnet second change

The third one is the graduation dress that she wore at the very end ↓ here

I think this is the best red-checked outfit I've ever made ☺️Because of the number of meters I used and the number of pleats I folded, it was too cute when it was done. I was so proud of myself when I saw it I had two fittings with Miichan and both times she shed big tears and it was just too cute! This is it! And I was excited to show it to her fans as soon as possible (there's a possibility that she was just cute anyway).

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience in the past. I'm sure you'll agree with me. Miichan also agreed with the red check idea, and we decided to make a dress that would be stylish enough for the fans to enjoy, and we also consulted with Miichan's good adviser, Nyannyan (Kojima Kojima).

And the costumes for the single medley block with OG members are This was born from a surprise proposal from Miichan. At first, Miichan wanted to make OG members and current members double centers in each song.

I've never seen anyone do that before, and I and SEIGO, the director, were all like, "What? The fans thought that since it was Miichan's graduation concert, it would be better to have Miichan and the OG as the double center, and that it would be strange if it wasn't Miichan who welcomed the OG. On the other hand, how many positions will Miichan be in? I asked her, "If I can be the third or fourth... hmm... I see. I want to show the current AKB and I want to change the members for each song.

When I heard this idea, I thought it would be more interesting to have the OG members wear the costumes they wore back then , and I was thinking of preparing more mature costumes for the OG members that would suit them better now. I'm sorry, I can't help it.

The only thing is that the costumes are over 10 years old and we don't have any RIVER fabric now and the hebirote costumes don't have any more Korean fabric so we have to copy the fabric from back then and if we're going to make them, we should make all the logos MINEGISHI MINAMI or something like that! I thought, so here's what I came up with↓Kidsy fabric

The current members and the OG members had a lot of fun performing, and I could feel the excitement of the fans in the venue, even though they couldn't speak, and I thought she was able to show them the current state of AKB.
I was hoping that at least at the end of the concert, Miichan would be able to show some selfishness, but she took care of her surroundings and the budget until the end, and was loved not only by the members but also by the staff behind the scenes, including us in costumes.

The only thing left is the graduation performance at the AKB48 theater in Akihabara.

I had to think a bit about the fabric image she posted, but I'm concluding it's the fabric for the multicoloured hebirote skirts .... I don't think anyone has ever gotten close enough during a performance to be able to read the text .... attention to detail taken to a new level

another tidbit of info, it was apparently initially planned for Tomochin to center RIVER, but due to her pregnancy Miichan had to change it to Ponytail to shushu in stead ((Tomochin's pregnancy, not Miichan's )

and another thing, I think it's kinda awesome members are aware of who the original member wearing a costume was, like ranchan tweeting she wore Sae's costume during beginner
(and all Team K members wanting a two shot with Sayaka )

Minami Minegishi's Graduation Concert - There's no Spring without Cherry Blossoms
After the concert, I felt like a shell, but now that I've finally calmed down, I'd like to share my thoughts with you.
There were so many conflicts in the year since the postponement of the concert in April last year, such as "You're still here? Such words pricked my heart, and I sometimes thought that it would be better to give up the concert and graduate.
But I really wanted to do the concert. Not only for myself, but also for all the fans who had supported me up to this point, for the members who had supported me, and for the future of AKB. I just had to...
I had always thought that this was the only chance for me, who had caused so much trouble for the group, to repay them one last time.
What I wanted to do at this concert was to create a space where the younger members would feel glad that I had continued until now.
I also wanted to make it a concert that would motivate them to do their best in the future. I wanted to make the fans think that AKB is the best.
I also wanted to deliver a view that I had never seen before and wanted to see. In order to achieve these goals, we needed the power of the graduates.
We needed the power of the members who had made the group so exciting and colored the youth of so many people.
But we didn't want the current members to think that they weren't what we were looking for after all.
With this in mind, we thought through the members and composition of each song without compromise.
When I saw the glittering faces of the graduates and current members on stage, I knew from the bottom of my heart that I had seen what I wanted to see.
I am so grateful that the graduates, who I would have been grateful just to see perform, joined us in their idol costumes with the choreography of the time. Thank you.
During the rehearsal, it was so funny to see the current members and graduates talking, even though they should have never crossed paths.
I'm happy if this has been a source of vitality for the members who will be living the life of AKB in the future.
To the members of the production team, the choreography team, the costume team, the stage crew, and the managers who worked so hard to give shape to what I had in my head this time, you all worked so hard without sleeping.
AKB48 is the best, all the current members are so cute, the costumes are genius, all the songs are too good... I hope that through the filter of my graduation concert, I was able to convey these thoughts that I had almost forgotten, and it will be worth the one year wait.
Even though I still had a lot of anxiety, I'd like to thank all the fans who came to the concert, and even though they couldn't speak (it was cute and I was happy that a little bit of their voice leaked out), they gave it their all to make me excited.
Thank you so much to all the fans who came to the event and made it as exciting as possible, even though they couldn't speak.
Thank you very, very much. It's going to take some more time for me to get out of this dream-like space, but with the feeling of "I love AKB48" in my heart, I'm going to keep running until my graduation performance the day after tomorrow.
As for the setlist, it's too full of particulars to talk about at all, so please let me talk about it again at some other time.

I think everyone will agree that the concert would have been nowhere near as amazing as it was in the end. An online-only concert would not have been as fulfilling, neither for fans nor for her. I think her reasons are noble, but even if it was just for herself, she deserved that for how hard she's worked for these past 15 and a half years. I'm so glad that she didn't give in to haters asking 'why are you still here?' and stuck to wanting to graduate with a proper concert.

I'm still kinda amazed that without real audience participation it was as amazing as it was ....

I'm probably conditioned to hear it, but in my mind it echoed "Miichan! Micchan!" during Gyaukten Ojisama

But, there were plenty of times a chant would have made it even more epic, but more epic vs. not epic .... I'll take this concert and cherish it, and if there will be a DVD/BluRay I'll buy it
(and add Takamina's and Nyannyan's gradcons for good measure)

Maybe people should record themselves doing the fanchant at home and play it during the concert

I wish we could have heard people shout Miichan's name. I sometimes watch the "Watashi Datte Idol" performance from Sasshi's gradcon and even though the song is a very upbeat and fun graduation song, it always makes me emotional when the fans shout "Rino-chan, Rino-chan, chouzetsu kawaii~ Rino-chan, Rino-chan, saikou Rino-chan~ Rino-chan, Rino-chan, sayonara Rino-chan~" I wish Miichan had had something like that

btw, I read someone responding to Kitarie's chopsticks with "what's up with that?" and I was like ... where have you been? ... have you never experienced the awesomeness of the air band SONE??

you've got to hand it to Aki-P ... he somehow always is able to pull something appropriate out of his hat for graduation songs (well, most of the time)
Sasshii is just not the idol type for a very emotional song, whereas Miichan and Takamina are, maybe because their idol career seemed to be more of a struggle

btw, that MV ... the ghost of Sasshii ... every once in a while Japan manages to confuse me to no end

I don’t know if she still does but I remember she also had lots of kid fans(seeing from old past performances where they was performing outside concerts and this one outside concert where kids was Vivian Miichan gifts(including flowers and pine cones) it was so adorable.

I'm not sure of the gifts were for Miichan specific, but she was the only member noticing those kids waiting at the stairs and deviating from the schedule (they should be getting on the bus) to take time to talk to them
Remember, Miichan wanted to be a kindergarten teacher when she was young ... she just loves kids, for sure when she visits other members who already have kids, Miichan will spend a lot of it with the kids in stead of the ex-members
(there was an article last year showing her do just that)
