    An interview about the new album and her history.

    NGT48 which is in its 7th year will release its first album "Unfinished Future" on June 29th. We talked to Rika Nakai , a NGT48 1st gen member, about the album that covered all the singles from her debut single "Seishun Dokei" to her latest single "Ponkotsu na Kimi ga Suki" .
    What does Nakai, who has had many experiences as "the face of NGT48", think now?

    "It's been seven years since NGT48 was formed, and I think all the songs so far are good songs. The singles from the first to the fourth are Sony Music, and the coupling song of the AKB48 single is King Records. Now, the song is Universal Music. Looking back, NGT48 has been taken care of by various record companies.

    I'm very happy that this time, we crossed the boundaries of the labels and became one album. I think the history of NGT48 is condensed in this one piece. "

    "I have had a lot of activities outside the group, and maybe I haven't had group activities for about 5 years out of 7 years. So far, I've been looking at members and groups from a distance. Finally, in the last year or two, I've been able to regularly attend theater performances and face the members honestly.

    In the last two years, I have made new discoveries about the members, such as "I was such a child." I think I've become a little humble, and I think I've become able to speak and act in consideration of people's feelings. "

    NGT48 trying to reboot but the royalty is still Rika-hime

    A morning stream still racks up 4k viewers and > 100,000 yen in gifts. And she doesn't even bother to turn on the ring light. The occasion: it's a Tuesday

    Normally Rika is off camera doing her makeup but still gets the same number of visitors. Her talk is interesting. Usually funny stories about things happening to her or observations. It's kind of like getting ready in the morning with your chatty gf without having to wait for the sink.

    It's also better than having the weather forecast on in the background. Even though weather news does have their own weather "idols"

    Rika's showrooms are always great but last night's karaoke was even more so.

    She always knows how to entertain and that's something I can't say for most idols.

    Karaoke starts around 42 minute mark and goes on until the end. (2 hours+ of rika-hime's singing 10/10)

    Sort of producing, aparel brand.
    Not a bad path while being in NGT48.

    Good luck in her future, she'll be missed.
