@mb1619 Thank for replying about AVEX. It may be as you say, I don't doubt that. but as far as I can see until now, exposure for Bokuao is quite significant... I mean we see something about them literally every day.

I ROFLed at this one... But for the sake of god @dutchie, I wonder how many people here can understand the pun/metaphor...

In any case I'll take it... OK rename the group as "Kudarizaka 42" right now! (下り坂４２）。。。

 

I was against the idea of kennin in the past, but I think this is one of the cases it might help, especially that BokuAo is such a new group. They could send a popular member of BokuAo to kennin in Nogizaka46 and a popular Nogi member (like Kakki or Enpi) to kennin in BokuAo. That would give exposure to both sides too.

I just finished watching the Yagi Toa - Anno Aoi SR...

OK I have expressed my early oshi-ing of Yagi Toa-san together with Nishimori Aya-san and Mochinaga Mana-san but I have to admit that Anno Aoi is something else... What an adorable kitten is that? This Nagahama Neru - Rika Sato hybrid gave me diabetes... So far I got the image of a shy, silent, and somewhat hypotonic girly but in that SR she was transformed into a super kawaii, genki beauty with an adorable childish voice.

Definitely I add Anno Aoi-san into my small group of favourites...!

If we wouldn't see growth such an expensive group as BokuAo next year, we'll be saying goodbye to them very quickly. they get much more support than SKE48, but what is the benefit?
P.S. AVEX is a TRASH, just look at SKE before Zest ... And still 0 support from AVEX after all the success last two years. TV Show? Rotation on music show? pfft..

 

Avex is just not a company for idols. Are there any idol groups that are actually successful under Avex?

Johnnys male idol groups are different, almost any group sells the same or much more than any of the 3 sakamichi groups, the Japanese idol industry for women is much more limited than the male one, the popularity of Johnnys groups is in another world.

 

What is happening with the group? What's their current status? I don't see too much going on lately...

 

recently they held two mini lives for their debut.

Their radio program will have it's first ep oct 2

and 17 october their variety show will be on tv for the first time

 

BokuAo will appear tommorow (Sep. 30) at Rakuten Girls Award 2023 AUTUMN/WINTER, so they had rehearsal today.

From October 2nd on, the fan club membership requires payment. (It is/was free until Oct 1st)
Moreover, they'll have an FC exclusive event on November 3rd.

So.. after 3 1/2 months, who is/are your favorite/s? Did you change your oshiman?

Honestly I did. My early oshi was Karen, but with time and more content two members stepped ahead.

1. Nishimori Aya (Oshi) 2. Miyakoshi Yuria (Ni-Oshi) 3. Yanagihori Karen

- Aya has such beautiful, cute eyes; overall she is really pretty! Her facial expressions are strong, she can easily convey a different aura due to this, how authentic it is depends on her acting skills. I hope we can see much of it in their new show! Speaking of her aura- cool yet playful, somewhat chaotic at times.^^


- Yuria is simply a striking beauty. My number one? Maybe!


- Karen reminds me a little bit of Noguchi Iori (my Oshi from =LOVE) by looks and character, and I think they have a similar laugh (especially in volume ). I thought she'd become captain, but Nana ended up in that position. Maybe that means we'll see her as center in an A-Side someday.
