WTF!! https://sp.stu48.com/news/detail/17627 STU48 Kai Kokoa moves to KLP48 We are pleased to announce that Kai Kokoa will move to KLP48 based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We will inform you of the final date of her activity at STU48 as soon as the date is decided. We would like to ask for your continued support for Kai Kokoa. Below is a comment from her. Hello, my name is Kai Kokoa. I have decided to move to KLP48, which was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have been working hard in STU48 for 7 years, but now that I have turned 20 years old, I have been thinking a lot about my future. On New Year's Day of this year, I saw the news of the inauguration of KLP48. I wanted to go here! That was my honest impression. I immediately contacted the staff, and after many discussions, here we are today. At STU48, I have received a lot of love from the people around me, and I have really enjoyed my time there every day. I was only 13 years old and knew nothing about idols, but my fans have brought me up to this point. From now on, I would like to move to Malaysia with all the love I have received and pour it into KLP48. STU48 Kai Shin'ai will be here until the end of May, From June, i will become KLP48 Kai Kokoa. My base of activities will change from Setouchi to Kuala Lumpur, but being a member of 48 group, being an idol, and being Kai Kokoa will remain the same! I will do my best as I have always done, and I hope you will continue to support me! Thank you for your continued support!
KLP48 announcement It has been announced on the official website of STU48 that Kokoa Kai, a member of STU48, will transfer and join as one of the first-generation member of KLP48. https://klp48.my/news/detail/XtVccJPZspDdRSUjhxtEMNY/2xALtYhIg6JxtYIRR5c=
Wow, time flies by so quickly doesnt it? I've been following Kokoa from afar since the reveal of STU48 1st gen. I'm quite surprised by her decision! If anyone any idea on her motivation to move/ circumstances that could have influence her choice, I'd be curious to hear you out
Message video from Kokoa speaking Malay so is she good with the language already? if the video does not show watch the video here
judging from her video above and other member's comment, i think it's what she really desire. since it's very uncommon for sistergroup to be transferred overseas. the exact reason probably either to prolong her idol career or trying to be like harugon in JKT48, start a new fresh
Kokoa seems very determined of going to KLP48 and talks a lot of details of the decision and future plans in this showroom. She is practicing the languages since she will need to know the three languages being used there (English, Malay and Chinese). Her dad and grandma is supportive of her choice, mom was surprised but OK, some relatives were crying and can't believe it. if the video does not show watch the video here She's planning to keep in contact with fans in Japan via Showroom or whatever streaming service they are using there.
I would imagine so, apparently Malaysia is even more conservative than Indonesia. And just as she was showing so much promise in the gravure scene an all. I don't want to knock the girl, I can only imagine that there's some naivety about the situation. I hope that the backers of KeLP are putting in sufficient investment to support the girls while they're getting this new project off the ground.
no more gravure? yes i guess? more conservative? not really. depending on which community since Malaysian community is pretty diverse I would say KLP would respect all the community that exist in Malaysia so bikini gravure is unlikely. but becoming a magazine model is still approachable
