Meetan!!! I wish you all the best in SDN48!! Now you'll finally get your chance to shine :3 Although I'm sad to hear that you're leaving AKB, at least now you wont be regarded as an underdog anymore!!!
This is a best-case scenario for all four of them. Especially Nonti and Meetan. We had to know that Meetan's days were numbered in AKB. She is getting too old for AKB. And this way not only does she get to stay in the organization on a team that was practically tailor-made for her. But all of the teams are blowing up anyway, which I'm sure makes it a little less painful. If she had to go, I'm hard pressed to think of a better scenario for her to leave under.
And less than a year later, bye bye. As people said already, there are ups and downs to this situation. She better get a good graduation ceremony. And by good, I mean an awesome one. I also expected she would graduate at the end of K5, which I thought it would be around december-january 2010, so she wouldn't just announce it out of the blue. But now, even if there was a 'transition' between AKB and SDN, she was still unexpectedly kicked out. It doesn't feel right
Meetan posted another blog entry for her under-18 fans, who won't be able to see her at SDN shows. She said something really interesting. Which basically means "I can't announce it yet, but I have a premonition that...it seems like something fun will happen with SDN?" I hope this means more exposure for SDN outside the theater in some way, especially with Meetan, Nonti, Cindy and Yukari leaving AKB48 for SDN48.
Even though I know that she'll get a bigger chance to shine in SDN48 I can't help but feel like I'm going to burst into tears when I see the thread titled change to remove the Team K. I always knew she'd graduate soon but I just don't want her to. I guess its like with high school when you come towards the end and you realize how much you wish it didn't have to change.
i will miss her performances with team K..it is really sad,but we need to accept and hopes for a brighter career with SDN..
I'm gonna miss Meetan in AKB... It'll take some time before it'll sink in that she's now not an AKB'er anymore... Still, good luck to you Meetan in SDN!!! I'd love to see her shine brighter now that she's with SDN!
