I did Give me 5 because it was new but I realised my fav was sakura no hanabiratachi
Its the oldest song of all and has many memories in it

Sakura no Shiori is my favorite since it has a gorgeous choral performance by many of the (then) original members.

10nen Zakura is my second favorite since it has a very catchy and upbeat tune.

Sakura no Shiori would then be next with a very touching melody.

Give Me Five follows.

Then ends with Sakura no Ki ni Narou.

The sad thing about all the songs is that it deals with graduation.
People move on with the lives... ties are broken.. new ties are made... change is inevitable as it's a part of life.

10nen Zakura is one of the best AKB singles period. It's cute, energetic and the music video is filled with bright pastel colors that really add a positive flair to a sometime sad period of time where we move on from school.

Of course, lyrically, Sakura no Ki ni Narou is incredible. Combined with its phenomenal music video, it's a force to be reckoned with. It's so hard to choose...

I actually chose Sakura no Ki Ni Narou though. Though that might just be because the music video with Jurina being a ghost was incredibly moving.

Sakura no Ki ni Narou is irreplaceable in my list. Aside from the awesome lyrics and background music the PV itself is a killer.

It fooled a million buy in 2011, right!

10nen zakura, such a catchy song. Its either 10nen zakura or Give me Five for me, both are great IMO.

That surprised me, not the typical sakura song (ok, give me five! has got that rockish style too, but most of the songs from the list are ballads...)

demo I definitely love Sakura no Ki ni Narou!! It's a really nice song and one of my fav song of them for sure ^^

^ Really new, I see - Sakuhana is one of the few early songs still prominent, esp. on Spring - in this year twice on TV (last time really hilarious, AKB+SKE mix on a ring stage), as last song on 120311 charity performance (one of two simultaneous) and I possibly forgot something else...
Sixth theater anniversary also ended with it.

 

I love "GIVE ME FIVE!" but i choose "Sakura no Shiori". Perfect combination song + PV

To keep thread alive, can I talk about favorite performances of Sakura songs? When it comes to Sakura no Ki ni Narou, my fav seems to be AKBINGO! performance from 2011.02.16, so relaxing and beautiful, it means, girls are beautiful - I saw some of them for the first time here, Miori was kinda outstanding at first sight By the way, this performance is unique among all AKB performances in some serious regard, can you guess, which?

 

I just adore Sakura no Shiori. It's one of the best-written AKB songs in my opinion, especially the amazing vocal arrangement. There's almost a choir-like sound to it, which is very different from most AKB songs!

And plus, I'd love any song that could inspire something like this:
