Wow, holy lord, I just feel like I missed a lot by not doing any translations today.. And oh god, Haruppi looks so divine in that outfit and I'm just totally digging the hair. Our little fairy.. ^.^ Tomorrow for sure I'll be back with a vengeance.. ^.^

 

Her hair looks much better when it's not divided in the middle! Makes her look more mature! I hope she starts wearing her hair like this from now on.

I don't think this was mentioned here, but Haruppi went with Sakura to Kumamoto Prefecture this week. valenoff posted the following video in Sakura's thread. It shows the two of them participating in a local radio show. Among other things, they asked the girls of Kumamoto to apply for the 3rd generation auditions. And of course Haruppi talked a bit about her concurrency as well. (NOTE: the video has no sound until about 3:20)

IMO it is more like... a totally different Haruppi. She has more confidence now and has found her sense of beauty... so IMO she can pretty much rock any dress now! [rock]

I agree... she looks more mature and beautiful with a more sophisticated hairstyle... but IMO she also loses a bit of her goofy/innocent charm too. It is kinda like... cute and lovable forehead Haruppi = Clark Kent... and beautiful Haruppi with bangs = Superman. [think] IMO beautiful Haruppi is too powerful and must only show herself on special occasions. LOL.

Nobody play poker with Haruppi when she wears that dress! Never know which card is part of the pattern or which is real. The hair on the other hand, I am not diggin' the bangs, I don't know. Seems to 1950ish to me. :dunno: But I am loving the summer dresses she has been rocking recently. All fun and playful, and stuff.

I am in a right pickle. Haruppi's Team A debut and Yukirin's 2nd concert Blu-Ray launch are the same day, which means I will probably get the around the same day. I was planning on watching both a couple of time in a row for each one, once to get an overall feel for it, another to analyze them. I have been so impatient for both! Looks like another allnighter is in store for me.

haruppi is looking really pretty here. i wish she'd keep this haristyle more she has truly redeemed herself fully when she changed the same dress to look so beautiful and elegant too

 

Ahhhhh, 4 more days, 3 &1/2 if you are in Japans region, until our Fairy's kennin debut. [shock] The suspence is torture I tell you, TORTURE!! I am going to need HD version of this, and none of the silly 1080i either. 1080p is a must. To bad the don't film it at 1440p. Now that would be something, I would be able to watch it in true fullscreen. [rock] Oh well, I got The Last of Us, that should hold me over fairly well.

I don't know, I'm simply loving Haruppi all the more now. She's actually made me relive my high school days because of that reference she made to Kumo no Ito in her G+ update earlier. We actually had that piece for English Literature back then, and I remember it because my teacher back then was all melodramatic about it. Haruppi, girl, seriously, I love you..

 

I'm actually secretly hoping that Haruppi will be made the (eventual?) team KIII captain, I'd love to see her in a leadership role
But it would probably be some time away as there are currently no team leaders with kennin positions.

read Akutagawa Ryonosuke-san’s
[“Kumo no Ito”]?

Buddha drops a long piece
of string made by a spider to
guide Kandata from hell
to paradise…

And then Kandata thought

Well, he got to go up, but
as he looked down towards
hell, everyone was climbing
up as well

And it was then that Kandata
felt the burden and the string
was nearing it’s breaking
point and then he said

And it was then that Buddha,
who was watching everythin,
saw Kandata’s selfishness, only
thinking of sneaking himself
out of hell, baring his merciless
heart, and Buddha wrought upon

So that’s how the story goes

But then how did Kandata
get around to going to
paradise?

NOTE: This story is beautiful.. I
sort of knew about it already because
we had it as a piece back in
high school once.. For the curious,
here’s a link so you’ll understand.
Maybe she didn’t know that it’s
because Kandata spared a spider
as he was travelling through a
forest when he was a alive

it sparks interest, I don't know the legend very well, but a very thoughtful question put. the article puts Haruppi's age next to it, I feel they are surprised that a 16 year old maybe put too much serious thought into a spiritual and moral story. anyone who read it can clarify maybe? i wish to know why it ends this way.
