Konbanwasamin (2014/07/16) Translation/summary

• During the national concert tour, Yokoyama Team K will go to Nara prefecture! This concert tour feels really werid because it started in 2012 while I was in team A, then I performed as a member of team B, and now I'm going to perform as a team K member.

Applications to win a T shirt -

• Fans send in things for Wasamin to say to promote her radio show when she appears on TV shows etc. The top 5 was read during the show. Wasamin had a hard time picking one because none of them really stand out to her. Wasamin plays a song while she makes up her mind.
• The entry Wasamin picked was 'Starting from Mujieki, heading towards your heart, an express service that leaves every Wednesday midnight. The driver of this train is AKB48's first ever Enka singer, Iwasa Misaki! I'll be waiting for you to aboard every Wednesday night on Music Navi fm.
• The winner is 19 years old, just like me! Why did I pick this as the winner? I think s/he used 'Mujineki' in a really smart way.

Pretty short one this week, most of the show was her reading the different entries for the competition. Next week Harukyan will appear on the show!

H: Yes it's Haru-can! Let's do our best!
I'm really happy to be able to appear on Misaki's show
W: I'm really glad too! But it was decided on such short notice, I couldn't announce it during the radio recording, but it was posted on the website instead. This is the 2nd time I had a guest on my show, the first was Nakamura Mariko, Haru-can is my 2nd guest.
H: I'm the 2nd guest? It would of been great if I was the 1st one...
W: Hahahaha...please forgive me
H: You couldn't do anything about it right?
W :Sorry
H: That's okay
W: In AKB, we're on the same team
H: That's right, team K
W: Currently we're on our concert tour and recently, we've just finished our live at Nara prefecture
H: Us Yokoyama Team K were there! Sayanee couldn't come so there were just the 20 of us, at Nara
W :It was a blast!
H: It was so fun that by the time it was the 2nd song, I turned into a completely different person! I got so hyped up!
W: It felt like Team K members have became really close to each other. We were together for a long time during rehearsals, it's like, I want to go to different places with everyone!
H: I feel like that too!
W: I want to go to Hokkaido! H: Hokkaido
*both laughs*
W: I want to go to Hokkaido! I want to try out all the great foods there!
H: When we were at Nara, we had 'Nara foods' together but they weren't specialties. We had yakiniku and buffet...that's why...*bursts out a laugh* we had daibutsu pudding & kaki no ha zushi, when we had refreshments..but everyone wanted to go try the tenri ramen
W: What's tenri ramen?
H: I don't know but apparently it's a popular specialty. Also, asasoba..
W: Asasoba? is it a soba of soba?
H: Isn't it? Umm, some kind of soba? hahaha
W: I wish we could of gone to Kanameshi shizuka
H: Ahh! me too!!
W: We wanted to go to these kind of places!
H: Yes I want to go!

H: Really?! lots?! I don't know what to say...
W: We won't be able to get through them all, but we have over 200 letters

If you were to have 1 more person doing this radio show, beside Wasamin and Haru-can, who would you pick?

H: Ahhh, I got someone... but does it have to be someone from AKB?
W: Go on
H: Satou Amina-chan!
W: Of course that's fine
H: You want someone other than Amina-chan?
W: Yep... I've already thought of someone
H: Me too!! Iwata Karen-chan?
W: Correct! It'll be really fun having her as well!
H: It will be! Except she might start talking about things that fans wouldn't know about
W: It'll turn into an anime radio show, but it'll still be fun to give it a try

I heard that the nickname haru-can was created by Akimoto Yasushi, what was the reason/origin of that name?

W: I didn't even know that!
H: Yeah he gave me that name! It was when the 5th gen were gathered in a room and Akimoto sensei was there. He greeted us and said, let's give you all nicknames, and he gave me that name. 4th gen members were there too. It was some lesson for B3 stage. Sashi was given Sasshi, for me, Haruka, there were many other Harukas there already, so he was saying, 'what should your nickname be?.... doesn't it sound like 'can'? *laughs* and that's how it become haru-can, because it was 'can' like.
W: Wow! That's great! So he gave everyone nicknames? Even Shiichan?
H: I'm not sure if she was there but if she were, she would of been given it too
W: I wonder what happens if he gave me a nickname
H: It probably wouldn't be 'min' and ended up as Wasakichi hahahah (6:06)
W: Where did you get that from? *lol* did you just made it up?
H: I don't know haha, but I would of given you Misakichi
W: It could of been Misakichi or Iwamin
H: Iwamin is a little old...
W: It's not used anymore?! I didn't know that!
H: It's because we prefer using your first name rather than your family name
W: Fans don't call me that any...more either *lol* I prefer Wasamin haha
H: Me too, I like it when they call me haru-can
W: Have you been called anything else? Like Haruka
H: I don't like being called Haruka, I preferred to be called Haru-can even with the people I like
W: What about Haru?
H: Haru is no good! haha
W: What if someone said, hey haru....
H: I'll stop listening haha
W: Please be careful when you call us
H: Yes, it's haru-can and Wasamin!


Since the big shuffle, Wasamin and Haru-can are placed in the same team, are there any other members you have gotten closer to?

W: Fans have been worried whether I've been making friends *lol* because with me and Karen, we have been talking about each other and no one else! *laughs*
H: With my fans too, they ask me if I'm only close friends with Misaki? *lol* I'm closest with Misakichi, but I'm really close with all the other members as well
W: That's right!
H: Yuami is someone I'm quite close to. She's really cute. She's from 15th gen. Also, Hinana.


KonbanHaru-can, is there something/habit you want Wasamin to correct?
H: Hmm, it's probably her anti-social behaviour? It's hard to say it because I have it as well. Since we're really close already, we've created a 'wall' with others, even though we didn't mean to do it on purpose.
W: That's something I didn't want to be told by Ishida-san *lol*
H: Haha I feel the same way.
W: I wonder who will win if we have a competition to see who will get rid of this behaviour
H: I think i'll win. I've been talking to a lot of kouhais recently
W: EH?!
H: What? (laughs) what is it? What was the 'EH?!'
W: I know that I'm not active in talking with kouhais, but... other than kouhais... I've been.... doing well.... is that.. not good enough?
H: *giggles* It's just not your anti social side, but whenever I invite to dinner or something, you always have plans already.
W: That's not true! I said I was free!
H: What?!
W: Don't cry haha I told you that I'm free!
H: I don't have a lot of days off
W: That makes me feel like I shouldn't take too much of your time from you
H: Nononono! Come play with me
W: Eh?!
H: Hahaha
W: Thank you
H: Please go out with your kouhais as well
W: That's a little too hard.... members other than kouhais......senpais and people I meet for the first time....I've been getting better at it... I'm not the type of person to be really hyped up and be really talkative like haru-can, but when I was talking to kouhais, and got a little excited just like how I would talk to you. At the end of it, the kouhais wrote comments on how talking with each senpai went. One of the comments was 'Iwasa seemed self-important' and that's why I sort of stopped talking to kouhais. Since my normal 'talking' seem self-important, what else can I do?
H: *laughs* I dont think you're self-important
W: Thank you *lol*


Haru-can do you like Karaoke? What songs do you sing and who do you go with?

H: I love karaoke! Who do I go with? Misakichi!
W: That's right! *lol*
H: I'm sorry, but only with Misakichi

H: It feels like I only hang out with Misaki *lol*

H: There's this game called Youkai Watch, do you know?

H: Anyway, in that game, there is a song called Youkai taisou that I really like. I think I'll sing it in the next Karaoke session
W: You listened to it non-stop while we were in Nara right?
H: I even did a little dance while I was on the stage *lol*
W: Mio loves it too
H: Yeah, during a performance Mero came up to me and said please invite me if you go to karaoke next time
W: What?! you guys got close that quick?!
H: So that's why, we can invite her
W: I want to get close to Mio
H: I think you can, they're in the same gen
W: Let's become good friends!

If you were to produce each other as solo artists what would you what the other to be?

H: I would want Wasamin to be an anime singer
W: Oh!! I'm happy to hear that! But why?
H: Just like Mizuki Nana-san, she did Enka as well. That's why...you should aim to be a Kouhaku singer!
W: I'll do my best!
H: I want you to master all the different genre of music out there! And for me?
W: I want you to do more gravure work!! Because you get chances to appear on variety shows and stuff
H: I'm not good with variety shows
W: But I think you can get better at those things
H: Be able to match with Mizuki
W: and appear on Japanese movies. Please do you best!
H: I'll do my best!
