    I feel you, when you are starting to get attracted to one member, and she announce graduation on the next day :(

    What to say, she was once the top of her class. Maybe becoming an idol have negative impact on her score.

    it's a shame because she still had a great potential imo with both her looks and personality. All the members described her as one of the funniest girls and anyone who's seen some of her SR must agree - they were (getting) extremely popular even outside the 8 fandom. But it was clear that especially since the new school year she just couldn't do the idol part "properly" anymore. So rather surprised by the timing than the decision itself.

    God damn, this makes me sad. She was always odd and interesting to watch. However, for most of the girls they're better off studying than trying to make it in AKB. I wonder if next year we'll see a bunch of girls graduating for academic reasons.

    EDIT: Damn...watching her graduation clip made me cry too =(

    Yeah... I went through a similar disappointment when Muto Tomu announced late that she wasn't going to compete in this year's SSK... but knowing her, that initial emotional reaction wasn't at all fair to Tomu... she's got the potential to go higher, and this is the sacrifice needed to get there. Same with Meiko... if she's exceptional at academics, then there are much more challenging and rewarding goals beyond idoldom...

    My Tomu thank goodness did not need to graduate to achieve her goals... but if that is Mei's path, I only wish her the best and will still support her outside of 48G in achieving her dreams. Just sad I wasn't able to see more of her as an Eito! :flower::blush:

    Just when my interest in idols got renewed, Eito members graduate one after another. Sad.
