She's been in high spirits lately, so I guess I'm not that surprised, but I'm as happy as always she'll remain a part of the senbatsu. Can't wait to find her in the video and on TV performances.

Not related to much of anything, but I really love this photo Cameron caught from the Tour in Summer final show.

 

I am listening to the MBS radio special for the NMB anniversary and Kanako told how she was seriously thinking about quitting NMB roughly 2 years ago but then she listened to "Niji" by AAA and the song brought her back around to keep on with her path in NMB. She said that if she hadn't listened to the song at that time she probably wouldn't be in NMB anymore now.

 

Thanks for sharing that. I'm a little surprised, but it just shows that Google+ and blogs don't give us the full story about where a girl is as I wouldn't have gathered at the time she was contemplating such things. But our ability to come across this kind of stuff when we need to hear certain things is always pretty amazing to me (I know I was helped out tremendously by a Beach Boys song) and reading the lyrics to "Niji," it'd be really difficult to not get some answer from it. I'm glad it's all worked out at any rate. As much as I love NMB and love everyone in NMB, I'm not sure where my fandom would be without her and I'd rather not find out anytime soon.

Just finished waching kanako seitansai show,it was a blast and fun show the epic part was when encore call the audiences sings "nandeyanen idol" chorus instead,fery epic and funny,letters from sayanee and her father are really good and touchy,and in her birthday speech,she said she'll applying for obtain diving licence (or something like that),if she passed maybe gachi de tsurishimasu will have a new underwater segment,heheh looking forward to that

 

Ah, I still haven't been able to watch it. I'll watch this tonight. Gonna make it happen.

Kanakichi retweeted about fishing idol group Tsuri Bit's new album coming out AND I was listening to Tsuri Bit earlier (though not the album), which reminded me that Kanako appeared on Tsuri Bit's radio show Tsuri Love about a month ago, though she didn't appear on the actual show, but went fishing with them. Long story short, here we are.

As well, Kanakichi performed Mushi no Ballad at the BII stage today.


Add in a Kawaiian TV fan round table she stars in, a lot of nice things going on right now.

I'll be curious how/if she uses it or if like just about everyone she doesn't use it or only uses it to be loud and obnoxious.

She too was the assistant on Bakusho Yose 2015. Someone was kind enough to compile everything together, which is nice since the one I found previously cut out most of the MC stuff. But talk about beautiful.
