Wow, a brand new Yu thread. I guess I never noticed we were missing one! In all of the Team K DVDs I've seen, she looked like she was having oodles of fun. And I think Natsuki was super close to her.
In the fan book, she has this cute little comic strip thing with Natsuki. They were the original pair I guess, and once Yu left Nacchi found Non... Even though I became a fan almost a year after she left, I started thinking Yu was cool after that 48 minutes special thing. She is a lot better looking in motion than she is in the profile photos and stuff. I find it really hard to imagine her being in AKB48 now though - probably because she left right before the start of the Himawarigumi era.
Yu was a fox. One of the best looking girls in the whole group. I liked her in the ICE song and anime. I didn't like her graduation performance that much, but I think that's because subconsciously I referred back to Michiru's graduation, which was, and shall forever be, the greatest graduation song ever.
I loved her MCs (well, the ones I've seen from the concert DVDs anyway) She was always so prefessional and in control of the situation. In my mind, she was the Team K equal of Team A's Orii Ayumi (whom I also happen to love to death ) And I love her song, her voice is very special, kind of husky, but beautiful.

In the first time i didn't notice it. Just feel familiar with the face, but didn't know where and when. I need to look for her name in the opening credits first to make sure. And, oh yeah there she is.

Happy birthday, Yu! I had no idea that Yu was so young! I guess I always assumed she was two or three years older! (As a side note, I get a little teary everytime I watch "Arigatou."
