She caught my attention during the recent Singapore SKE performance...indie solo single? that's her solo job way before SKE is it? despite being the shortest and oldest in SKE...she stands out for me...out of print is a pity...anyone any idea what the song inside sounds like?

Saw this on g+. Awesome! Mieko is my favorite g+ and I hope she can do more of these in the future. I hope this is going to be something she does when she graduates, because I love her voice.

I think he knows. I think that is why she probably ended up on K2. She was much older, had already recorded a CD prior to Team S and had lots of stage experience with Team S. She was the perfect older sister to help K2 get ready for the stage.

The thing I liked about the video it will hopefully show Mieko that we want to see her sing, whether she is , or is not in SKE.

I thought Mieko's election speech was really nice. It was about how there are about 80 girls in SKE, and even though only 16 can be senbatsu, the rest are still important, shining members of the group. She said that she is happy with her place in the group and loves her job, and she hopes that people can notice the other non-senbatsu members too.

 

All right, time to give some life for my SKE oshimen's thread

So who's Sato Mieko?
She's SKE48 Team KII member and a very talented singer-songwriter/pianist. This is her biography from Japanese wiki website 佐藤実絵子in case if you wanna know more bout her.
As some of you might already know, she used to be a solo artist based in Nagoya before she joined SKE, and goes by the name of Fuka Koyoi, as her stage name. According to wiki, back in 2007 she used to be active, where she released her 1st single [Natsu no Omoide], attended a vocals academy in Tokyo, she then participated in final stage of Mobage music audition, and won a special jury award. She released a mini album [My way] after that, and performed in a couple of live events. In late 2008, her work as Koyoi stopped.

I never heard of any disciplinary misconduct of her tho.. maybe just some 48 politics??

 

Holy shit. Just watched a LOD of KII4. I wish they included all the under versions of stage songs in their studio recordings too.. I love Churi and all, but Mieko's version of Yokaze is rad.

 

It's hard to imagine Nee-san being demoted as punishment.. Management probably demoted her to help out the KKS and then to build Team KII or something. SKE management is pretty mysterious with their demotions so we can only assume

It said something about scandal? i don't know since Igucchi Shiori also demoted to KKS too right? i don't know the exact version

 

Does no one love Nee-san here too? She is the last member in the 48 family that is older than me! When she graduates I feel like I will be too old for the fandom.

Anyways, Nee-san has a wonderful voice that I think is wasted in SKE48. She needs one tiny push, that's all I want. ONE TINY PUSH.
