Is that turnout a good one tho? I dont know what is japan's criteria(?) or standard(?) in order to call a movie "successful"

 

the nogizaka movie asahinagu was #93 with $3,807,061 us dollars in the japan box office 2017. The #1 was the Beauty and the beast with $110,790,534.
In 2018 the #1 is code blue with $77,778,562, hibiki is #71 but there are other movies in the next months that probably will surpass hibiki.

From an economical point of view, maybe not a success. I would say a regular result but if you compare hibiki with a movie like bleach with hana sugisaki (3,247,531). Bleach is a total failure at the box office, it depends of the budget vs earnings. In the top ten you can see a majority of hollywood movies and in the japanese side animated movies from famous franchises like pokemon, detective conan and doraemon. non-animated movies like code blue ( yui aragaki, erika toda), killing for the prosecution( with members of arashi and smap) and in my opinion the best movie this year "shoplifters" that won a palme d'or. The japanese public is very demanding. To be in the top 100 is very complicated for beginner actors in general.

 

What does it mean? And Is it good for a beginner to achieve 3 millions on his/her first debut movie?

I was talking about according to the earnings in the japan box office for rookie actors in general. The asuka's movie will have similar or less earnings because hibiki has the advantage of the participation of keiko kitagawa( a famous actress).

She just sent dolphin sandals on her mobame, as expected from techi, she always sent weird pictures, i remember when she sent that IT clown (pennywise) but management removed it.

 

Techi has always been unpredictable lol what i cant believe is Aki-p actually agreed to that. Changing stage name isnt just simply having another name, that also means getting public to know a new name, basically selling new brand.

 

I guess we should wait to hear techi ost hibiki song on next single or maybe they would never release it at all.
