the more i look at katomina the more i think she looks like Ishimori Nijika from keyaki

 

Following the link that @ForrestFuller posted and translating it, it's like a documentary novel written by an NGT fan based on the events of NGT48. It includes both real events that the members experienced, but also fictional elements and the author wants to give all his earnings to NGT (as in, if he wins any prices for it). It is not related to AKS or NGT's management.

You can actually read it right there on the webpage because he can't actually legally publish it because that would mean he makes money off of NGT which would be illegal of course. Maybe, one day, I can translate it a little bit or some other international fans will take up the challenge. I haven't read any of it yet myself as I literally only just clicked the link provided in the post above.

Chapter Two (I guess?) is called Minami no Hajimari so I'm assuming it's about Katomina (Chapter 1 is about Hinatan, Chapter 3 about Ogiyuka, Chapter 4 about Rikahime and Chapter 5 about Okappa). Actually, all of these chapters were posted on Friday and they seem to be chapters of the first part, "Overture". At least that's my assumption, I believe there's more to come

How did she get her new nickname Minamon? I think it's better.

Well, with her new look, she has vibes similar to visual kei musicians.

 

Minamon:
Minami + Cinnamon (Maho's mostly known for Cinnamon, but Minamon is quite crazy about the little fella too)
Anyway, it's her Mobame nickname, and not many people use it. But please, if you want to, use it too. Let's make it her main nickname more so than "Katomina".

I know, right? It's just all so peaceful and lovely, same with the Japanese fanbase. Like we're all one big みな民 family~ we all share that same huge amount of love for her

Minamon is doing really well on her teacher teacher HS sales! Its the 4th round, and she currently sold 22/30! It's the second best between the NGT girls, losing only do mahohon, with 26/30 on the 4th round!

 

It's actually 25/34 (Renappon messed up there).

Going to hold off on saying anything until after the Resales Rounds.

Haven't fully caught it (considering my awful Japanese), but it seems she said in her Showroom, she might dye her hair silver next time. Excited about what it will look like.

I was so happy to see her name on that nikkei survey it's low, but it's already such a big deal!! And that pic of her with the sidetails IT'S SO CUTE I WAS SHOT And minami with silver hair, i bet she'd look like a goddess AKLÇJFSOIG

 

does that mean that katomina is the most popular ngt member?

 

Her and Rika are both recognised by 8% of the questioned people for the survey, but Katomina is more 'interesting' than Rika by 0.9% so yes, in a way, Minamon seems to be the most popular member to the general public.

I have to say, I'm pretty proud of our nuggets for being more popular/known than Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, SUPERGIRLS, Silent Siren, Team Syachihoko and a couple other J-Idol groups. That's pretty damn cool. Let's hope that they rise to at least 50% in the future ^^
