Did Mako appear on M01 No Way Man? I still cannot find any conclusive picture that she actually appeared. While logically she should, it might be entirely possible that she skipped it due to her waist problem. (Yes, it sounds pretty serious, she talked about it in mobile mail on Dec 6).

She centered RIVER (w/ Naachan) and Manatsu no Sounds Good. But it's the same pattern as Yoshimasa Stage so...

Fan: You dance so good but is in AKB... What a waste.

Mako: It might be said as a compliment but... What a waste to be in AKB. Isn't that belittling AKB? I don't like it at all. AKB48 is a group that the deeper you know about it, the more amazing group it become. It is so great that it is simply mind-blowing that I can be here. I take pride that I can be here.

 

So it was as I feared. Mako only appear on group song in AKB Kouhaku.

And it is very possible that Korean fan meeting, originally scheduled for tomorrow is infinitely delayed because of this event.

 

But at the end, she and Miichan were standing center stage behind Jurina and Miion (and Yuihan), a prominent position in my opinion.

 

Doesn't really make me feel much better.

There was an interview with the PRESS editorial team in which she did talk about underwear.

And she is thinking about organising a flea market to give away her cloth, but she will have to check with the office if it's okay to do that.

 

Mako was on the CDTV Special! Christmas Music Festival 2018. She was the 3rd row hidden center behind Sasshi for KFC. I posted the vid in the AKB48 general thread.

She is top 16 within AKB48, but not within the larger All Japan 48. One proof of her still being top 16 AKB48, she is in the new Beat Carnival promotion, the first original song.
