10 theater appearances in 26 days? from when I tried to get theater tickets for Team K 2 years ago I gathered they had about 1 to 2 shows a week ... allowing for graduations where she appeared in shows with other teams, I still would think that far above average ...

and she would have surpassed the 1000 for sure by now ... and I would have expected something special to commemorate it for sure

It's not. The 930th was correct, but the 940th was what she was speculating.

... which I found a bit weird, because normally the only one on "※1+※2" in the page you linked counted. The rest were for partial appearance which usually doesn't count when we talk about appearance number.

And you can't really estimate what you gather 2 years ago. Heck, the number of show differs wildly across the same year. There were 5 Team-K shows in September 2018, but right now it's only a show a month.
