I watched the perf of it this morning... honestly I'm not crazy about it but I can't remember the last NMB release I've been geniunely excited by musically so I guess it's not bad? I do like the outfits though, I think they're really cute and from what I could see they're kinda different pastel colours which I love. Miru looks really great as the center though so I'm pleased for her! I like the part of the choreo where she walks through the members, it reminds me of a less hardcore Junjou U-19 but it suits the song a lot!

 

Let's also not forget that Yuuri is getting Yama e ikou-ed here where the song is written for a W-center but they're making it a solo-center for Miru.

Interesting notes from the event schedules for this single.

There are 4 handshake dates, 2 Osaka 2 Kanto. 3 2-shot dates, 1 each for Nagoya, Osaka and Kanto.

Aapon demoted from 5 slots to 4 slots.
Riripon promoted to 5 slots from 4 slots.
Aayan promoted to 4(!) slots from 1 slot.
Rei promoted to 3 slots from 1 slot.
Momorun promoted to 2 slots from 1 slot.

Disappointing for some members who were aiming to get slot promotions but it does seem management is being very aggressive with the slots for the members. I mean, 4 for Aayan could be very great or GOD AWFUL for her career.

Also no more ABC slots so everyone gets 1 full slot at the very least.

I heard some of the song and it's meh atm. I think I'll reserve judgement for a higher quality version. It does remind me a little of mae no meri from SKE too actually (and I really didn't like that song all too much lol)

Can anyone explain the lyrics of Masaka shingaporu?

 

Damn I just realized that the intro melody of the song reminds me of Hoshizora no caravan's intro

 

I don't mind that its light and summery song, but have 48g forgotten how to put guitars in their tracks? The great old tracks all had a punch to them, they were fun, happy, and lots of guitar driven songs. These new ones feel like they'll float in and out of your brain with no staying power whatsoever. Like I've already forgotten what it sounds like and I heard it only 5 mins ago.

I just watched the performance of Masaka Singapore and it's totally underwhelming. The song is forgettable at best. I can actually hear places in it where it sounds like they borrowed from better songs... The choreography is as basic as basic gets. Totally uninspired. Even the costumes are totally bland and uninteresting. And for being a Mirurun centered song there's actually very little Mirurun focus to the performance. Literally the only thing I'm looking forward to about this is the bikinis in the PV and the fact that my two new faves, Reechan and Chihii, are in senbatsu together. And I've decided that I don't like Momoka's grey hair. She looks like death warmed over on stage... corpse idol.

At this point, they should give her 100 slots to inflate NMB sales lol....

She didn't participate in senkyo so I guess her fans still have cash to spare to sold out all of her spot?

 

I don't know about that. She always sells out all her slots at first rounf. I just didn't expect her to sell out 60 slots (25 akb + 35 nmb) when the releases are so close with one another

 

So, if they could push her HS slots to 100, it's likely that it'll sold out, right?

But, I know, after she finishes the final slot, they might call an ambulance
