mizugi reechan more than makes up for the apparent shortcomings of the album

 

I'm honestly shocked they're even calling this an album...it's an insult. I better get like 20 different photo's inside this album and like 2 mini posters lol. I can't even justify buying it to support NMB...like just download the songs on recochoku or itunes lol. It'll cost soooo much less lol. I doubt the packaging is gonna be that amazing either lol.

 

I thought the video was cute, the song was nice. I can't tell with the covers so I'll wait for the HQ versions to judge them but only 2 or 3 look decent. Miru as center and successor is really obvious but I'm not mad, glad they did a continuation of Boku igai. Although the worst part is the 4 new songs. What is management thinking?? They need team songs along with units.

 

Does this album have some tie-ins with an anime?

 

Its a best-of album, nobody every claimed it had completely original content.

But it seems like management has finally realized that 99% of the people who buy their stuff don't really care whats inside and only want the handshakes/photos so they're taking it to the logical end.

 

Post-center theme certainly has been around in 48G for ... all time
I won't be surprised if their next theme is saint-becoming of Miru

Edit: Does anyone heard bit of Manatsu no Sounds Good in Masaka?

The MV was beautiful, I loved the idea of Sayanee handing the golden mic to Miru. I haven't warmed up to the song yet though.

she looks super hot in that pic tho lol. I mean they all look good one way or another in these covers, but it still feels meh to me overall.

Yeah...I hope Miorin can still in NMB (and hopefully AKB) releases till she graduates.

 

It does sounds like Manatsu no Sounds Good. I mean, the structure is kinda the same between the two songs.

I think the photos of the covers are cool, specially because the girls look very editorial-like and classy (you go, Miorin!) and the excess of color is very over the top (something that I associate with Osaka a lot).

But I agree that ONLY four new songs it's ridiculous, but at least we have a solo song for Miru and a solo cover (since she's my favorite from the group, I'm delighted for this) - the promo song isn't memorable at all either, but everyone looks so beautiful (the MV encoding and transitions look kinda amateur though).

 

Okay so the covers aren't too terrible... I like some of the dresses they're wearing at least, but I'm having a hard time recognizing some of them because of all that makeup... Miorin looks amazing though.
