It's a big jump for her, congratulation Mikurin! I'm so happy that her hard work paid of well, I was so scared when they announced Nako.
Last year when Nako ranked 28, she was shifted to pair with Haruppi and when HKT48 was participating in other events she was prominent in the front, while Miku was second row. Now tables have turned and Miku ranked 28, while Nako was 37... Will Mikurin get the same treatment Nako got and start to be featured ahead of Nako?
@Lisa I think they'll continue to push Nako just as hard as they were before unless next year Mikurin climb up to senbatsu. I just hope she get to be in more variety and that she got her solo, centre song. Anyway she looks sooo pretty to day and I was surprised by how clam she was while giving speech.
Maybe AKS can switching Nako to Mikurin to be a kennin, just like they did to Fuuchan & Mirurun? If Mikurin continues rank higher than Nako.
I bet that they will continue to push Nako and not Miku in order to continue the drama, the fans would be more fired up this way = more money for AKS However, things may change if Miku is able to reach senbatsu next year
Miku is living proof that super hot looks is 80% of the game. Ofcourse Miku is more than just good looks but think about it, for all these years Nako with her push and Sasshi's special treatment has always ranked higher than Miku. What changed this last year? Miku started to bloom big time.
AKS made Hana center before she even rank in so now that Miku is in UG I hope they let her center a song too.
I particularly think Miku has a great singing potential. She needs professional vocal training more instead of just practice... but it's not like management or fans chooses their push because of singing skill... just look at Nako, Mio and Hana... they are all pretty bad singers...
True, but you can go the singing route a lot better if the girl can sing. Case in point, Yukirin. In fact, as far as AKB singles go, I think the only Bad singers centering a song were Sasshi and Paruru. Acchan, Yuko, Marika, Jurina, Kojiharu, Uchida, Milky, Sayane etc.. are all good singers.
Come to think of it, when Madoka ranked as the 4th highest HKT member they got her a position in Kibouteki Refrain's Senbatsu. Hope the same happens to Mikurin now
I hope they give her lots of airtime in UG Mv too because I saw a lot of Nako in densetsu no sakana last year when she was #28. Edit- Mikurin with her trophy, she's so cute!
i just realized that Mikurin is now the 3rd highest ranking in HKT and I hope the management notice this too.
