That doesn't make any sense. No one told any of us to hate any of the members or to like any of them for that matter, we just ended up feeling this way on our own. I have beef with some of the members I wish I didn't, but I do and I don't intend to ignore these feelings. But if you wish to believe are people deliberately are hating aren't you being rather narrow-minded than.

Well she remains the most popular in SSK and in general mainstream surveys the most recognized so they just can't handle her succes. It's fun though, I was worried she wouldn't be able to rile up haters anymore.

    1. Glad to see oshi's rank went up and downvotes are very few, esp compared to last year. Jurina has a bit fewer as well!

    2. Surprised Sakura still made it to the top 10 given that she'll be setting a record with her downvotes or something [hehe] go Sakura.

    3. I cant wait to see Okada Nana in top 3, I'm kind of really expecting it :XD:

I have just one member that made it to the top 10:

So 5 appeared today :XD: Jurina is kinda low but at least she ranked up! Go SKE Ace :1st: Ikuta Erika is officially Nogizaka46 #1 in this forum :DShe is beautiful and has a decent voice (Nandome no Aozora ka remains my most favourite Nogizaka46 song).
Surprised to see Tano's ranking (she surpassed Tomu, Ryoka and Juri!). To me she is also pretty and can sing very well plus her dance skills:1st:
Current AKB Center Mion almost made it to Top10!! Instead of pretty, she is more on the cute side [hehe]
Kojimako dropped 10 ranks! Even her votes dropped substantially (100+)! Her smile can rival that of Milky imo :p I just hope people forgot to vote her lol
Im rather happy some made it to top10! I actually predicted Sakura to be out of top10 (KwM Center, SSK Speech) but I guess she has more positives [hehe]

I'm happy to see Nogizaka girls more than before. Though I was expecting a little better. I thought Ikuchan might have broken the top 10, even.

I was expecting more negatives for Naachan so I'm happy.

Something told me Meru was going to pull another SSK 2015 by barely ranking in... and I was right. :XD: I'm still pretty happy to see her there though and even more so to see that she didn't get any negative votes this year. She's my oshi so with that comes a fair amount of bias but I really believe she's been getting better and better as an idol so it's nice to see that hasn't gone unnoticed even if there isn't any buzz around her anymore.

I haven't had an oshimen in AKB since Tomochin graduated and nowadays my interest is too casual to bother with one but if I did, I believe Komiharu would be it. She's funny, interesting, has an absolutely stunning smile, and most importantly invokes a need inside me to see her succeed.

Nanasemaru didn't get hit as hard in negatives as I thought she would. Well, she got insanely popular for a reason. That beautiful smile and sweet demeanor melts hearts eventually. She's certainly much higher in my ranks now then she was previously even prompting me to vote for her this year. Who dafuq gave Ikutan negative votes though? I thought she was as close to hater proof as you can get. I mean, it's only one person but still...

lol true in a way, you can say she's doing something right if she's managing to rile people up again. :^^;:

Time to take stock of the year in retrospective.
I largely stopped following the 48 Group for about half a year while I dealt with some stuff, but I will probably never completely leave it. While my interest in Nogizaka46 and NMB suffered, I did manage to find some new blood to enjoy from various groups, and a few of the graduated girls also made my list as I say a fond farewell to them.

My ranking is almost completely out - spoilering for length!

    #20 59. (55) [21|0] Kuramochi Asuka {+92,0}, 92

I always loved Mocchi. She wasn't just a beauty, she had a quirky character, a smooth voice, and an ear fetish :hehe: I miss seeing her long hair whoosh around as she dances (and the uncomfortable faces of other members as they sidle away from her ear-chomping). I haven't been following her individual work, but I'm sure she will be successful in "life after AKB". I'm glad she was able to go out with a decent position in the ranking.

    #19 68. (66) [21|2] Maeda Ami {+89,-9}, 80

Aamin is a fun member. Although I feel her time in AKB has already run out, she's been a solid theater girl and she always brings the best costumes to the Janken Tournament. I will miss her once she's gone, but she has gotten very few opportunities in AKB and it's honestly a wonder that she manages to keep herself in the minds of fans who get to see very little of her on a regular basis.

    #18 33. (24) [37|0] Tani Marika {+153,0}, 153

I'm super glad that Tani managed to get away with 0 negative votes, despite the treatment Kaotan and Akarin got from forum members. Tani has a purposefully abrasive personality just like the other two, but I think she's even more over the top than they are :^^;: I pretty much lump them all together in the same boat. Tani's move to SKE definitely helped her stand out and it's been paying dividends for her ever since - she is most definitely getting noticed nowadays, despite the reaction she may elicit [hehe] I like a little bit of hyper sometimes and Tani is who I go to to get it.

    #17 44. (---) [30|1] Goto Rara {+118,-2}, 116

CHOO CHOO, all aboard the hype train! I wouldn't have even noticed Rara if certain forum members hadn't started gushing about her almost as soon as she debuted, already seeing her potential. It helps that she speaks some English, because it sets her apart from other members, but her looks and mannerisms are also charm points for her. And of course I was stoked when she was included in the TwI senbatsu. I really hope they keep pushing her, as SKE could use a new and capable ace now that Jurina's time is dwindling down. I know a lot of people are staking their hopes on Ryoha, but I'm just not feeling it from that girl. Rara though is a perfect contender. And it's completely ridiculous how high her ranking here is already. I expect great things from Rara.

    #16 61. (51) [24|0] Tanaka Natsumi {+89,0}, 89

When I first started checking out HKT, Boss was noticeable first because she was the youngest member in the group at the time (11 or 12 idr). And her height, already so tall, made her stand out. But she was so shy back then! Watching her grow into her "Boss" character has been truly amazing. She reminds me that this is why the 48 group is great. Characters and talent don't just come out of a vacuum. They start somewhere, born by some impetus. We don't always get to see the transformation with regular celebrities; but here, we can. I'm a bit disappointed that she isn't higher up on the ranking, despite all the steps forward she has taken.

    #15 54. (41) [25|3] Yabuki Nako {+113,-9}, 104

Of the NakoMiku duo, I admit I'm much more interested in Nako. She is just much more of a standout to me than Miku, from my faraway perspective :p I think it was a good idea for management to promote her from the get-go. HKT is so stocked on talent and recognizable faces right now compared to the other groups, and that's certainly thanks in part to the fact that they begin pushing new faces like Meru and Nako right away. It's awesome that she is so young yet seems so comfortable in the spotlight onstage, but she isn't gonna be an adorable loli forever, so I'm very curious to see what she will be like when she gets a little older.

    #14 97. (---) [14|0] Ogino Yuka {+54,0}, 54

I'm going to be honest with two things here. One, I wish Yuka had been chosen as NGT center, because I don't care for Katomina (I think she has a really obviously tooth-gnashingly annoying fake character) or Moeka (essentially Mio ver.2, and we could have done without the first one). Two, every draft I absolutely comb through the applying members. I read their bios, I watch their videos, I debate on which ones will be best for which groups/teams and wait with bated breath to see which of them actually gets picked... and then I promptly forget absolutely everything about them as soon as it's over. If I'm lucky, I'll remember only their name. Not so with Ogino Yuka. I didn't watch Baito AKB, but Yuka was a standout from the beginning of the draft process and she really has the chops to be a solid member. I was glad when she was chosen for NGT - already there was a girl I could get behind in the new group. I'm a bit miffed that she's been more or less shoved to the side in favor of more stereotypical girls in NGT, but them's the breaks I guess. I hope Yuka can keep rising in the group, but I'm a bit worried about her age as far as her potential longevity in the group goes :cold:

    #13 29. (23) [42|0] Takahashi Juri {+170,0}, 170

I completely expected Juri's high position and lack of negative votes. She has a ridiculous number of fans on Stage, and for good reason. She was never a standout to me until a couple years ago when she started to emerge into a sort of leadership role and really became her own character. Her acting in Sailor Zombie (in the one episode I saw, lol) was pretty good, and she's easy to notice in PVs. Really, she is just a totally solid member, the kind that AKB really needs right now during its extremely long transition period. I can't say for sure, but I think Juri's presence does a lot of good for the members around her. She seems to exude some kind of calming aura. Or maybe I'm imagining it, but either way I'm a fan :chuffed:

    #12 157. (116) [7|0] Sato Mieko {+29,0}, 29

I only got into Mieko long after her heyday in SKE. When my Airin fandom came into full bloom, my notice of Mieko wasn't far behind. She is a really talented girl. I'm glad one of her original songs was mixed for an SKE B-side before her graduation, and I'll always remember her as the super short girl who lifted her knees higher than anyone else in Kizashi :XD:

    #11 145. (134) [9|0] Uchiyama Natsuki {+34,0}, 34

Alas, Nakky, we hardly knew ye. Whatever her reason for leaving the group, her bright smile and cheerful genki energy will be sorely missed. Nakky was a girl I truly looked up to, because she always had a huge, genuine smile on her face. That is something really hard to come by. It's much easier to give in to scowling and gloominess, but she had a kind of energy that could blast that all away, even from across the world. I really hope she is happy, whatever she chooses to do. A shame that her ranking is so low.

    #10 16. (17) [47|2] Tano Yuka {+244,-7}, 237

Not a lot to say about Tanochan. Brilliant singer and dancer, great onstage. I could do without some of her kusogaki personality but otherwise she's a total gem and I hope AKB utilizes her more properly in the future. She has the potential, they just need to give her the chance to do something with it.

    #9 41. (49) [22|0] Motomura Aoi {+124,0}, 124

My Aoi, my adorable pyro crybaby. HKT should never have taken you out of senbatsu! I can only hope that her fans avenge her in the election. I'm happy with her rank here, as it has climbed a bit. Ever since I saw her I thought she's the absolute most adorable 48g member and that still holds firm. She's so fun to watch on HKT's variety shows - one minute she's dissolved into sensitive tears, the next she's lighting fires and touching bugs that have other members hiding across the room. She's completely a product of her upbringing (her father used to take her camping all the time, I guess) and her character is just so cute. I know she's gotta grow up sometime but for now I hope she can keep her place as one of 48group's top cuties.

    #8 153. (76) [8|0] Furukawa Airi {+30,0}, 30

People are forgetting Airin already :( Well, she has been gone for a long time now, but it hurts. For me, she was really a "love at first sight" story. I saw SKE performing a song on Hey!x3 and Airin had one line. The camera zoomed in on this rich-voiced beauty with long dark hair and I was hooked. I was further hooked when I learned that she's a complete otaku and draws cute chibi characters as illustrations of SKE life. Her great voice, her range of interests... she reminded me of myself a bit, perhaps, except way more beautiful and successful :D I'm disappointed her rank dropped so low here... she was always a favorite on this forum because of her otaku interests and drawings that cross language boundaries, so it is a bit sad that only 8 people could find a place for her on their list.

    #7 13. (19) [45|16] Matsui Jurina {+296,-48}, 248

Not a lot to say about Jurina, either. Solid member. Whatever your feelings about her kennin shenanigans, she works hard and has been the main breadwinner for SKE since its inception. I love her acting and dancing and she's always amusing to me. Maybe it's time for her to move on - I think her sousenkyo rank this year will really drive her towards a decision one way or the other. Not surprised by her rank or her negatives, lol. Jurina is one of the original polarizing members.

    #5 17. (39) [48|5] Komiyama Haruka {+242,-13}, 229

Oh, Komi. You are becoming a polarizing member too. If only your Stage fans saw what 4ch says about you now after that documentary and your possibly-misinterpreted-post about quitting if you don't rank in ssk. Truthfully, I don't care about any of that. I'm worried about the road Komi's fame is taking her down currently, but I am confident she'll recover from the bad press and rise up even higher as a beacon of shining smiles. Like Nakky, Komi's beaming happy face and energetic manner really clears the clouds away even from across the world. She is talented and a joy to watch. I can't help but smile every time I see her smiling, it's really infectious. I hope she ranks, and I hope she keeps climbing in my esteem and in the Stage ranking.

    #4 28. (15) [46|23] Sashihara Rino {+246,-74}, 172

I understand the negatives for Sasshi. Despite her hard work and miraculous recovery, she still had a scandal and she's almost obnoxiously showing up everywhere. If you don't like Sasshi, it's hard to get away from her in this fandom, which probably makes her antis even more bitter towards her. Personally... if you remove the "idol" tag from her and everything that comes with it, what we are left with is a girl who was down and out and worked hard and intelligently enough to turn her life around. She had a huge scandal with extremely good proof; enough to break a usual idol, but Sasshi is not a usual idol. In fact, most of what she does is more like a businesswoman than an idol (which may be another source of negatives for her). But to me, that is what's so fascinating about her. She is basically an already accomplished TV personality moonlighting as an idol manager and living amongst the idols themselves. She is a unique presence in the 48 group... maybe a unique presence in Japan. I have no doubt she will win the election again this year. All I doubt is that anything but graduation will be able to stop her.

    #3 49. (69) [26|2] Hirata Rina {+113,-6}, 107

Well, Hirari is very high on my list. The reason, I suppose, is because she's half-American. It's partly solidarity, and partly because she is easy to understand, and thus to follow. I have been keeping an eye on her ever since I learned about her unique situation. Her Japanese started out...very bad. But now, she can hold her own against the rest of the members with a natural speaking and comprehension speed. She clearly works hard. She is a great singer, an even better dancer. The reason she is kept out of the limelight in AKB isn't because she's untalented. It's surely because of her heritage, which is probably as disappointing to her as to her fans. Yet she hardly ever lets that show. I see her making the most of her meager existence in AKB, and I applaud her for trying to fit in in an industry that treats her like an outsider and ostensibly doesn't want or appreciate her. "The Japanese idol" is a very Japanese idea, it must have a very Japanese feel at its core, and therefore it must be very difficult for a Westerner who can neither look nor act the part to perfection. Yet she soldiers on, and I'm always happy to watch her talented performance.

I am not really very surprised that Mako dropped a little. She has been falling behind Naachan as management seems to have dropped Mako from favor for the time being. Miki even moreso - I'm actually surprised she's not lower. A lot of people on the forum have expressed pity for Miki at being left behind the other 2 musketeers. I wonder if a lot of her votes are pity votes :glare:

There aren't a lot of surprises in the ranking. What's the most interesting thing about it to me is being able to see who all the other frequent forum posters listed as their favorites. It gives a bit more info about the people we discuss/debate with so often and the motivations behind their viewpoints. I think that's the most important thing that the ranking brings to the table, far more important than which idols are most or least favored.

nope I think you're being narrow minded since I said "I wish more people doing it" it means I already know the fact that people might ended up hating member, but what is wrong with hoping for something? is't it a good thing when me as sasshi's fan and @M4YUYU as mayuyu and tomu's fan being okay with each other? Is it wrong for wishing there are more of a good terms like this?

Look how close Miki ranked to Mako! This is so encouraging, she ranked up! And Tanochan ranked even higher than Mako although she only increased her rank by one. Congrats! <3 <3 <3

3 new additions leaves me 3 in the top 10. Hmmm not much to say... Though I did write my ranking in a rush so I didn't include any graduates. Sorry Rena for not making you the top Matsui, my bad. :^^;:

Not surprised Mako ranked down with Naachan overtaking her even though she'll always be the musketeer I'll root for. Shame that management couldn't keep up a consistent push for her instead of shoving her in and out of senbatsu before pulling out on her. Gonna be a bit of a trek for her to get back up there but she can do it, wishing her the best of luck for the upcoming sousenkyo and cementing herself a good spot for the future. Mion and Meru, not much to say though it would be nice if their sousenkyo rank was anywhere near similar to the rank they had here. A bit sad for Meru's neglected treatment in HKT, especially with her being the only one at the front without a kennin (not that I want anymore members to get them though).

naachan and Yuihan are going to be in the top 3 I bet. The remaining top 3 candidate will either be Sayanee or Paruru, I guess?
It's alr miracle how Minami managed to maintain her top 10 status (considering the graduates like Yuko drops like crazy once she graduated in her last ranking). And considering lots of major Minami fans has alr left the forum because of the obvious hate towards her here. And considering some of the more active Minami fans left doesnt even vote. And technically I didnt vote too.. lmao.

Plus, Kitarie/Miichan is in close to top #10. Yay!

Churi didn't get any negative votes again...but less votes, which means not as many people are interested in her. The average was the same in terms of points and rank though, so at least the people who voted for her really liked her.

Not surprised Rena lost votes, but it's quite a coincidence how she barely lost out to Jurina, and the amusing thing about that was Jurina had the same amount of positive points as last year, just a few less haters to help her inch forward, lol.

I've missed a few girls but my list isn't something I feel the need to comment on too much, since a lot of them earned their spots from my time in the fandom.

Will be interesting to see who of the top girls has least negative votes.
Paruru, Sakura and Takamina fighting for most negative points? Or has it only been a very vocal minority bitching about Takamina for the whole year.
