I wonder if you somehow could display the generation shift? Old and mid gen out and new gen in? Except for three all old top members lost votes. Sasshi 10k, Kojiharu 5k, Takamina 11k, Sae 20k, Miichan 6k, Akicha 9k, Umechan 16k and Mocchi 3k. Yui maybe are old, -14k. The exceptions are Mayuyu +60k, Yukirin 8k and Kitarie 1500.

If it was one or two those members could have lost their fans but this must have other reasons. I've stated earlier I think a lot of old fans have left the fandom together with the graduated old members and the new fans mostly looks at the younger girls.

Just wondering if it was worth a mention that Matsui Rena ranked in Undergirls the first election? I know she's been Senbatsu the past 5 years but she hasn't been 'always Senbatsu'.

    Edit: Same as Sasshi actually.

@rka Just me being pedantic, but Rena was UG (29) in the 1st election! But loving the analyses!

True, Acchan and Yuko were everything and so dominant back then, no one could come close to them especially during Akb's golden days, 2009-2011, we'll truly never see anything like it ever again

Far as I can understood is that as is currently the situation, if you want to go in AKB48 singles of senbatsu, it is easier to enter the sister groups if you're in the original group.

Interesting, thanks. My thought that the old gen are declining seems to fit the situation, but not all over. I will have a further look later. But it seems also as the sister groups are taking over more and more.

Here the problem is that the transfers of the votes in his day voted to female graduates not is note. I think that is because many voters vote more than 100 times.

With these statistic, I get the feeling that when your oshimen is graduate. Already not so much are purchased many tickets to vote, as before.

I am wondering how many individuals voted you think... even if a lot of them did indeed vote 100 times that can't be the average... 2,689,427 divided by 100 equals 26,894 voters. And even if the average is 10 votes per person... the total of number of voters would only be 268,942 voters... which is still kinda low IMO. That would mean this whole giant deal is dependent on the whims of only a couple hundred thousand people. :fear:
